31. Butchy Ellen, I'm sure her mother is very hurt and embarrassed by her life-style, when she is alone in her room at night. More than the money, a mother wants to know her child is well-adjusted, first and foremost. Her mother can expect to just hang her head in shame the rest of her life, in spite of putting up a great front for her daughters sake. But don't kid yourself, am sure she has agonized and shed plenty of tears over her daughters life-style, keeping up the front for her daughter and the public. Same as Cher did for Chastity.

35. gay is not a sex issue so much as a trust issue...somewhere along the way, these people encountered a real breach of trust with the opposite sex (a very significant event in their life) leaving them more comfortable and trusting of their same sex.

40. Anyone that bashes Ellen decision on marrying Portia~ who made you GOD? She has a right to happiness, just like you or I. What her sexual preference is none of ANY of our business.PERIOD. that's it. I would watch her show before all those other talk shows. God,I hope Oprah retires soon. And Dr.Phil aint even a real doctor. He cheated on his first wife & was caught scheming on old people and left Texas before the cops had a chance to arrest him years back. 45. as an adult, i can rationalize the whole gay thing, though it's very difficult to explain this to children. as an adult, i can deal with it, but confuses the heck out of kids. as an adult, i can tolerate this, but will never accept that life-style, LET ALONE, consider it normal.
