TMZ has obtained the 911 call when the Universal backlot caught fire, and the dispatcher has a little trouble wrapping her head around the fact that there's such a thing as New York Street in So. Cal.

32. The Dispatcher did an excellent job of getting the information and getting the fire fighters to their location. She should be thanked for doing her job, not made into the subject of yet another slanderous story by TMZ. I hope the money you make at TMZ is good enough to make up for the damnation of your souls.

34. I fail to see what this dispatcher did wrong. She stayed calm, took all the information they would need and did her job, what do people want her to be doing, jumping up and down screaming. Aren't they supposed to stay calm during these calls???
I know some dispatcher have done some stupid things, but this is not one of them.

37. I have been a dispatcher for 10 years and I can tell you that she sounded fine. She didn't get excited or flustered, she did her job! These new CAD programs are a pain in the ass when it comes to locations, so you have to be very specific or you can come up with a wrong location.

He should have said Universal Studios any smart person would have. You dont assume where they are, you try to get specifics. How bout this, Unviversal is supposed to have there own fire department. 40. I'M GLAD TO KNOW THAT EVERYONE HERE WHO IS SAYING THIS LADY WAS IN THE WRONG IS 911 CERTIFIED, IS A DISPATCHER, AND KNOWS EXACTLY HOW THE CADS WORK AND HOW TO DO OUR JOBS AS DISPATCHERS.
