I have actually never blogged before so I must admit I am glad someone read it and replied because I love to debate. Also your response seemed thought out and reasonable unlike some of the other idiots on this page. Just to clarify for the record I am in no way associated with the Hogan’s But I enjoyed watching hulk and Andrea the Giant do their show when I was a kid. I grew up In CT (home of the WWF) and my Grand parents had a billiard hall that they occasionally visited so that IS THE ONLY AFFILATION.

That being said is there actual proof that Hogan turned over the booze to Nick?
Or did Nick help himself? As far as Nick’s passenger, I know he is just home from the war and I am sure all Americans appreciate his sacrifice. However Nick and John were shoulder to shoulder drinking and racing and could have been in different seats on a different night…right?? And Nick is only 17 and probably acting like 17 year olds do when they have the Access to everything …..

When you review the headlines over the last 30 years you will see that what happened in Nick’s case is just another headline of a public figure making his or her mistakes in public but if we all were under the same spot light most of us would have had some not so shinning moments

Some of our most beloved American Icons have made some really bad choices!!!!
Drew Barrymore. Lenny Bias….Jimmie Hendrix…Brandi (recent vehicular homicide)…River Phoenix… JFK…Marilyn Monroe, Babe Ruth, Edward Kennedy (DUI w death) and probably a hundreds of other pro athletes, Actors, Models, trust fund babies and politicians.

As far as parenting goes mistakes are made in most families not strict enough, to strict, neglect, over protective and so on! Hulk himself did terrible things to his body in order to make a living in the ring (like most athletes) and probably enjoys speed and higher risk activities and the public loves watching it right!?! What I mean is the viewing public loves car racing, UFC, Football, reality TV scandals, political scandals and that means advertisers keep buying those time slots and the networks keep making more shows.
At the end of the Day this is just another tragic American story of an American Icon falling of the pedestal. The real tragedy is how fast Americans are willing to encourage sex, drugs and Rock & Roll and then demonize it in the same breath!!! (Ever see a movie were the hero drives fast – drinks-fights and womanizes?!?! )

318. Yes there is proof HH bought the booze. It was at the local Albertson's liquor store. It is on tape and the cashier remembered them. There is even a reciept so if you want to know the different types of beer. The chain of events is they bought the beer, went boating, came back and got in their cars and the crash happened. They did stop off at Shepard's while boating but were refuses entry. BTW they did not buy and non-alcoholic drinks, just alcohol and ice. The cops could try to charge him but he will just say he must have snuck some when I wasn't looking. Hard to prove in court he actually handed it to him but if they had nothing else to drink on the boat what did he think his kid was going to drink?

This was not an accident. It was inevitable and people are most upset that the Bolleas seem to have no remorse and are not taking responsibility for this. You know it all, mom on tape talking about how cool it is to street race and avoid the cops and street racing with Brooke in the car (available on youtube), the family doing nothing about Nick's 4 speeding tickets prior to this incident, twice going over 100 mph his dad was in the car with him, Hulk buying the booze, the souped up barely legal car Nick was driving, the tapes saying God must have had it in for John to have this happen to him as if the Bolleas were mere spectators to this tragedy. The Mom saying she was hurting more than Mrs. Graziano, Hulk in court saying Nick is a 17year old child (why are you buying beer for your "child") Nick whining about how horrible he has it when Graziano is in a permanent vegatative state, having motions that made it sound like the kid was in the hole in Alcatraz instead of the county lock up. It wasn't like he had no human contact for Pete's sake. He worked outside his cell 6 hours a day. Get over it. It is JAIL You aren't suppose to like it. It all just nauseating and taken as a whole makes you wish they would move to the Sudan or anywhere we would never have to see them again.

There is nothing admirable about these people. Seeing people defend them makes me sure our civilzation is going to crumble soon. Hulkamania was a show. It is not WHO Terry Bollea is and people liked the character of Hulk Hogan and are confusing him with this irresponsible narcissitic guy that in many ways is responsible for this. He and his wife encouraged instead of discouraged this behavior and quite predictably to those with ANY common sense, tragedy ensued.

These people are have no pity or empathy at all. None. Zip. Zero Zilch. No sense of responsibility or guilt.

Hope Nick is enjoying his time with his 3 roomies. Bet that private cell is looking really good right now huh you whiny brat.

This has all the earmarks of future tragedy. These kids have no education and no survival skills. One of them will be dead of an od within 10 years. And Dad and Mom will be shocked and wonder what went wrong.
