TMZ has obtained a copy of a demand letter from Gina Gershon to Vanity Fair. Make no mistake - she's pissssed.

Vanity Fair just published a pretty scandalous story about Prez Bill Clinton. The demand letter claims the article "outrageously insinuates that Ms. Gershon has had an inappropriate sexual relationship with President Clinton. This is absolutely false."

The letter demands "a retraction and correction."

Gershon's lawyers from the bulldog firm Lavely & Singer noted that "Gershon has only been in the same room as President Clinton on three occasions," all with many others present. The lawyers take a shot at Vanity Fair, claiming, "Rumor-mongering was substituted for fact-checking."

32. Hey, I've actually read this article and it IS pretty SLEAZY. The tone of the piece just sounds like the journalist (if you can call him that) spent the last nine months attending Washington socials where he collected scraps of gossip from all the other banshees. He, in fact, doesn't ever quote anyone directly or reference his information in any legitimate way.
For example, regarding personality shifts post bypass surgery, it only occurs within the first few months after the surgery-- not multiple years later.
The fact of the matter is, this writer is just trying to stir up dirt and get his name in the news. Congratulations everyone, you just bought in hook, line and sinker.

33. This Gershon/Clinton story was originally published LAST YEAR in the Wall Street Journal, the NY Times and Gawker picked it up as well. Why was there no retraction demands then to those publications? It's common knowledge that he's a player and this just seems like another pathtic attempt to blame everyone else for their problems.

I'm sick of the holier than thous' trying to keep a dead issue going just because they hate the fact that Pres. Clinton was the best president in modern day history.

37. Has everyone in America gone insane? Seriously, I can't believe the level of stupidity on these boards. And why is everyone so angry about something that doesn't concerm them. Dont you have your own problems do deal with? All of the anti-Clinton venom is obvious jealousy, maybe if you folks had sex yourself occaionally you wouldn't be so concerned about Bill Clinton's sex life. 38. One more thing: the real issue of this story should be the fact that real journalism no longer exists. There is a real war going on with real people getting killed right now and this is what passes for news. Before everyone starts slamming the "media" remember the media sells us what we want to buy. And if what we choose to buy is BS stories about a man and woman's private sex life then that is what we are going to get. Hey tomorrow's news may be what YOU did in your bedroom last night! You never know.
