Everyone is responsible for thier own actions. No one disputes that so you can stop saying John should have worn a seatbelt. However - bottom line - if Nick was not a reckless little jerk-off in the car - John's seatbelt issue - well - not so much a concern albeit he should wear one as should we all. However...

Nick does not accept responsibilty.
The world can see this clearly.
That is why we blame him.
When John wakes up, I''ll be more than happy to yell at him for not wearing a seatbelt and for getting into a car driven by a moron.

I haven't read ANYWHERE that John provided the beer, BUT I have read and seen the pics of HULK buying beer and partying with them on their boat before the accident happened.
But you are right, Nick is not totally responsible... His dad (terry/hulk/aging bald guy) is also responsible... HE bought the beer, HE provided the cars for the race, HE partied with them prior to this accident. HE allowed his son to continue driving even though he had multiple tickets for speeding/racing.
If anyone else should be held accountable, it should be HULK

Your lame excuses (John didn't wear his seatbelt, John was the adult) are quite a reach.
If they did just get pulled over, John would be ticketed, while Nick would still go to jail!!!
I'm sure John would have prefered that to his current state.
As MANY people have said, it's not who's responsible, but how they acted after the fact that causes people to be up in arms.
Even if John did bare some of the responsibility (which I don't buy), the lack of respect and morals shown by the Hogans is TOTALLY disgusting and really pisses me off.

42. If you say the N word you will lose your show and it will be talked about ad nauseam on every single media outlet out there.

Drink, drag race leaving someone paralyzed on a ventilator missing a portion of their brain. Then bad mouth the victim and his family and seek ways to profit off it and 90% of the media ignores it.

43. Let's all just blame John Graziano for Nick's stupidity, why don't we? Nick was the one who drank and was stupid enough to still get behind the wheel and drive. He made that decision on his own, no one forced him to. John and his family are paying dearly for any part he may of had in this, if any. Nick will get to walk out of jail in a few months and go home to mommy, John will never go home again.

44. does nick deserve to be punished? yes, more so then he is. but i dont think all the blames should be placed on him. i would have never gotten into a car with a minor who had been drinking. especially one who is infamous for driving like a maniac. they both made poor choices and quite frankly i am sick of seeing and hearing about this story.

45. I am so HAPPY the Graziono's are speaking and defending themselves/John. What kills me people on here have enuf nerve to STILL point at John? Good lord. That is just INSANE. If I lived in the same city/town/area as the HOGANS I DEFINATELY would be picketing in front of their house and making sure they knew how I felt. I would get all the people who are just as disgusted as I am and drive them out of town. God I wonder if those people who live close to them are mad?
