I have four children myself and among the values I am drilling into them are reponsibility and accountability. God forbid my own son was as reckless as yours, but my son would take his punishment and not whine about it. The cell your son is in is NOTHING compared to the cell John is in till the day he dies. This is what you should be reminding him of everytime he starts to whine. You have not raised a responsible man.

Nick should join the Marines. They will do to him what you so grossly failed to do, turn him into a decent and reponsible man.

26. The Marine Corp would not want a piece of crap like him, jail is exactly where he belongs. I'll bet the farm that when he turns 18 he does not ask again for release into the general population so he can access educational stuff.

Put him in with the general population and he will get an education. Would love to hear the tape where he explains to his pig mother what happened last night. She would probably ask for the name of the guy Nick was crying his eyes out about.

28. #19, John isn't ever going to wake up. He has a hole in the front of his head the size of an orange. He'll be a vegetable for the rest of his life. If Nick doesn't like being in jail, he shouldn't have drag raced while he was drunk. It's the driver's responsibility of what happens when they are behind the wheel of a car. He is getting what he deserves and hopefully more.

I don't think Nick intentionally cause the accident. Many of you don't realize it could be your child driving some friend and in the same type of accident. Certainly, you wouldn't want your child to waste away in jail for their entire life. Young kids sometimes do dumb things their brain are not fully develop and they think they're infallible.

30. What I cannot understand is how Nick's parents got off with no punishment. Terry and Linda are responsible for their minor children. The vehicles involved in the race were theirs and the alcohol that was consumed that day came from their house. If it were regular folks who did this, they would have been punished also.
