A Mother's Grief.. I think if my kid had several speeding tickets on
a car I was a co own of that I just might take away his driving
rights.. matter of fact I have not allowed my children to even take
driving lessons until they are 18 as it is... sorry but 16/17 is too
young to drive. They are not mature enough. But if my son did do
something like this I can honestly say that I would be there for my
son, because I KNOW my child would forever feel the guilt of what
they did.
By the way , Nick isn't 'wasting away his entire life'... THAT would
be JOHN'S sentance ..... sorry.. Nick has serve a measly 8 months out
of a possible 5yrs and he can't even do that with any dignity.

No one is upset about the "accident". They are upset over the way the Hogans have conducted themselves since. They said they would spare no expense to make sure John had the best care. They obviously talked to their lawyer and the next thing you know John was being moved to the VA hospital for lack of funds. No, he's not there because he's veteran. And then to hear the tapes. The Hogans could care less. That is what everyone is upset about. You're right. Kids make mistakes. It's how they deal with the result of those mistakes that is important. Nick Hogan is pathetic.

40. #33...I hate to say it..but part of the reason imo that John remains with life support is the civil suit. Nothing much will be gained if he died. I'm almost positive after the civil suit has been completed and a huge amount is awarded to John and no chance of appeals anymore, the next time John runs into a medical crisis from pnuemonia, staph infection or some other complication the family may decide otherwise about what John would really want...right now NO WAY r they going to grant what I'm positive any young man would want, which is not to live out whatever time he has in a vegetative state.

41. When Nick turns 18, will he be put in general population? He needs to spend time in there. This area he is in now is a walk in the park. He needs to be in general population and soon. Those inmates will already know what kind of person he is and what a whiner he is before he gets there. Let them take it and deal with him on their terms.

42. I want Nick to pay for what he has done and express remorse as much as anyone else. However someone you people with your little jail house rape fantasies are just sick. It's bad enough you are making jokes about a person being raped but you are actually taking delight in the fact that in may happen. Oh and legally Nick is still a minor so you are all seeking a thrill in what would amount to child molestation. If one of your children were in jail would you delight in them being raped also?
