Lets Get This Party Started
Tatum - The Dog Made Me Do It!

Tatum O'Neal is playing the oldest blame game in the world for her crack attack –- it was the dog's fault!

In this case, she tells the New York Post, it was the death of her dog Lena that set her off in the spiral that ended with her allegedly buying crack on a street corner. "My daughter and I had to put her down. It was too horrible for words," says the ex-kid star.

She adds that the cops "came and saved me" from doing crack. Of course, she pleaded not guilty to actually buying the crack yesterday.

"Nashville" Wannabe Corn Gets Creamed

The drama is already roiling on "Nashville Star" – and show is just starting to tape! TMZ hears that Charla Corn, an original member of the top 12 go the axe from producers because they thought she wasn't up to "Star" snuff.

So as chance would have it, guy group Third Town had to get on a plane at 2 am Monday to get to Nashtown for the morning. No word on what's happened to Charla, but she'll be missing the show's big move from USA to NBC.

We also hear that Taylor Swift will be performing on the premiere.

SJP – I Do Not Follow LiLo Anytime, Anywhere

Sarah Jessica Parker is super steamed that a dress designer put her in a dress for the big "Sex and the City" premiere that had been everywhere before – including on Lindsay Lohan!

The New York Times first reported that SJP wore a Nina Ricci gown to "SATC" that – horrors! – had been worn earlier in the month by socialite Lauren Santo Domingo and then – before that – by Lindsay Lohan in a Disney ad campaign. That just won't do, says Sarah: "It's just unethical and disappointing that they would allow the dress to be worn again."

Party Favors: Universal Blaze Blamed on Blowtorch ... Allan Houston Gets Back to the Playground

L.A. County fire officials say that the blaze that engulfed Universal Studios' backlot in flames was caused by workers using a blowtorch to heat asphalt roofing shingles, according to the L.A. Times. ... While old combatants Kobe Bryant and Paul Pierce battle it out in the finals, we hear that ex-NY Knick Allan Houston is hosting a celeb b-ball tournament at legendary Rucker Park on Sunday, June 14, as part of his 5th annual Father Knows Best retreat – a program that focuses on dad-son relationships.

16. Tatum O'Neal should take her pity party on the road. She needs another Oscar.

17. Sarah - "Get Over Yourself" - Not to mention the dress was as ugly as sin.

18. You have to understand the celebrity rules of engagement. You don't wear a gown already worn by another star. So that's what happens when you buy "off the rack" even if that rack has gowns that are $30,000. So here's my advice....seek out an up and coming designer and have them design and create a NEW gown for you. You'll be helping out a struggling artist make it in that crazy, competitive occupation and you'll be ensured not see your dress on someone else. (or wonder about their pit stains).

19. Memo to Tatum: Step One..."We admitted we were powerless---that our lives had become unmanageable."

You might want to look at that word ADMITTED instead of blaming it on the death of your dog.

I had to put my cat down years ago. I remember sobbing, not doing drugs. @@

20. Tatum O'Neal should get some real problems. Normal people have to put their pets down too. I had to have my dog put to sleep last year because of old age and it didn't make me buy crack or even drink a beer. It was sad and I miss her but I dealt with my grief and moved on.

21. Whiney Diva Parker adds more fuel to the bonfire of public scorn. Braying about "me first" only makes her look more like a bony ASS.

22. This is what SJP said in its entirety - a bit skewed in TMZ's reporting of it.

“In the big picture, this is not important, but there is a relationship between the entertainment industry and fashion. We’ve watched sales dwindle and we’ve watched people be less inclined to spend money on clothes.”

To Parker, these are reasons for companies to take particular care with their relationships. “Look, my affection for the dress hasn’t changed,” she said, “but what they did was so short-sighted. It’s just unethical and disappointing that they would allow the dress to be worn again.”

Parker says she remarked to Theyskens during the fitting that she was surprised the dress hadn’t been worn before. He assured her it hadn’t.

“He didn’t say, ‘Well, actually I just escorted Lauren down the red carpet at the Met.’ ” said Parker, adding, “I just wish it had been handled differently and they had been straight about it.”

23. EW - If someone had put me in a dress Lilo had worn, I'd go straight to the clinic and get tested for every STD they can think of. Stand your ground, SJP. I'd be p*ssed!!!

24. SJP, the dress lookes like a trash bag to begin with.....................why would you want to wear something that awful to begin with? Like NShado said, " Find a unknown designer" and let them start working for you! Give me a call, you can borrow one of mine. I promise you the A - Z listers have NEVER seen it! Just get over it and have a reality check while you are at it!

25. Does SJP have any clue how shallow and utterly ridiculous she sounds to make a big deal about how "unethical" it is that she was tricked into wearing the same dress that another celebrity wore before her? Are you kidding me? Okay, I admit I don't have the inside knowledge on how the deals are made that put certain A-list celebs in certain A-list designer's clothes. But I do know that its a business transaction in whcih everyone benefits and SJP gets to wear amazing designer duds for free. So, to make a big deal about being the second or third person to get to wear a dress in public sounds like her priorities are slightly skewed. She could have just as easily, and certainly more gracefully, said "I'm so lucky to have the chance to wear this beautiful gown"

26. Typical junkie/addict behavior, Tatum. Blame everyone and everything else for your behavior.

27. Tatum, Please stay away from pets and animals if it will cause you to run to your local crack dealer. You obviously knew where
he was by the way.

28. 24 Dallas "Give me a call, you can borrow one of mine. I promise you the A - Z listers have NEVER seen it!"

You're right because no celebs shop at Walmart

29. We had to put our dog down awhile back and the first thing I thought of was damn I need to go score some crack because it hurt sooo bad. Tatum, I'd respect you more if you just said, I've got a problem I just can't kick. God bless you Allan Houston for doing something that all the black leaders won't focus on and that's black dads and their sons, and it should be about all their kids!!

30. SJP always talks about her poverty stricken past, and how grateful she is for her life now. However, that does not go along with her complaining about a dress that other celebs. wore. Either SJP was misquoted, or she is not grateful and does forget where she came from.
