The Force Is Not Strong With This One

Amanda LucasIf you've ever wanted to go after George Lucas for ruining the "Star Wars" franchise, be warned -- his daughter will lay you out.

Amanda Lucas made her MMA debut in Auckland, New Zealand over the weekend, losing in one of ten fights as part of an event called Princesses of Pain -- which also accurately describes Natalie Portman's acting in "Attack of the Clones."

According to a fan at the fight who posted a comment on a local news site, Amanda's fight was "a total mismatch and she got badly beaten. To give Amanda her dues she kept coming back for more, but the ref in her corner should have stopped the fight after the first round."

31. Tiger, quit and become a filmmaker!!! I'm not trying to rain on your dream here, but is it a viable dream...or are you trying to prove something to your Dad...or perhaps a Mom who isn't there??? If the latter is the case, have a family of your own, and via that experience, you will be able to have the family that you have always wanted to have, by building it yourself and with the person you chose to fall in love with, someone who returns that love. You can be the parent that maybe you feel that you are missing. Please think about it, and patiently consider my words...as they are meant and delivered from a thoughtful perspective.

You have a wonderful opportunity through your Father to become a filmmaker. Take it, learn and make films. I know it is hard competing with your Father's legend...but look at it this way, your dad has only directed two great films, ever, and a third respectible one, those being , American Grafitti, Star Wars and THX-1138, respectively. He has now directed just as many bad films, as he has directed good or great films...and as for films that he has produced, or had a hand in creating, there and now far more bad ones, than good.

My point??? You don't have to be afraid of his legend or feel that you have to prove anything. People would kill to be in your shoes and have such access...so Tiger, use what you have, this great opportunity, and become a filmmaker. I am certain that in time, you will impress, and far exceed even your Father, critically, if not financially, if you only try. You already know more than you think you know just by growing-up in and around the business...and that is half the battle and half the war!!! I hope you consider my advice...as it is a good path to take and meant out of sincere respect.
