112. Brad started wearing the hats when he had to have a really short (and awkward looking when not in costume) for one of his films. I guess he likes 'em, so he keeps wearing them. I think they look pretty good on him. They always coordinate with his outfits (at the very least)

As for Shiloh, she *was* at the beach on the day in question (if Star wants to claim the pics were taken on the 21st, let 'em, all the sites have identical photos of everyone wearing the *exact* same outfits and in the same positions, so they obviously prove Star wrong no matter what they say). If you look to the more reputable sources, they include Shiloh as those who were at the beach for the fun. But even if she wasn't... so what? Some of you keep acting like the only time the Jolie-Pitts do something is when you see them on TMZ (or the like) and don't do anything at home that does include Shiloh. Even if that wasn't true, there are more than several possible reasons why they wouldn't want to / couldn't have brought her to the beach with them.

As for Ange "suddenly" spending more time with Shiloh *out in public* (emphasized for a reason) around the time she began to "show"...? She's getting older... able to do more and for longer periods of time where taking a younger toddler doesn't have an effect on the enjoyment of the other children. I'm always seeing comments about why they take one or two out at a time. Not everyone forces their children to go everywhere just because they want to go or one of the kids want to go. Parents everywhere will ask "Who wants to go to such and such...?" This is especially easier to do if one has a nanny or a close / inexpensive (usually a family member) who can watch whoever doesn't want to go. My folks did it with my sisters and I (once they realized that my sisters didn't have identical personalities, that is (and no, my sisters aren't twins, they're 18 months apart)

As mentioned by others, I'm also quite sick of the terminology regarding the Jolie-Pitt children. Having been adopted myself, it's rather bothersome to see the kids constantly referred to as the "adopted children" as if they're not really members of the family. I can kind of understand why it was done when Maddox was a baby, but not any more, it's obvious they're adopted, we don't need to read it over and over again and the kids don't need the world harping on it. I've never been referred to as "the adopted one" by anyone in my family or by any of my family's friends. I've always just been one of their children. This whole adopted vs biological thing is beyond rude. Yes, we all know of some of the comments that Angelina has made, but they are understandable and common thoughts / emotions (that, by the way, do not remain) because it *is* such a big difference between adopting (because one is choosing a child they feel they can have a bond with) and physically giving birth to a child... just as there is a difference in the experiences of having a C-Section and having a "natural" (for lack of a better term) childbirth. The only thing that Angelina did wrong was be honest in a world that can take the most innocent of statements and turn them into a money-making rumor mill intent on nothing less than painting people in a bad light for any given reason.

114. #61 (PickyPicky)... I'm still amazed at how some of you can hold on to a comment that was taken out of context and sensationalized. The way that she's talked about Shiloh since then as well as the way she's talked about pregnancy and motherhood have proven that she didn't mean the statement the way that so many unfortunately claimed she did.

The twins are not "unwanted" in the slightest.

As for the Diamonds seemingly being a contradiction with her work with the UNHCR and her advocacy for Darfur... I'm not positive, but I believe that it's common practice to get jewelry loaned for award ceremonies. I know that a lot of her pieces (such as the bracelet she wore to -I believe it was- the Golden Globes ?) are designed by either her children or individuals she has met while traveling on behalf of the UNHCR (and sometimes on her own). However, even if they weren't loaned, Angelina gives roughly 1/3 (give or take... some years its more, some it's a bit less) of her income to *charity*, as evidenced by last year's tax returns. You act as though the woman sits high in a castle and hordes her money away while speaking of atrocities she has neither seen nor cared about when in fact it is quite the opposite. She has put herself in harms way to get the stories of refugees from many countries so that others may help. Just because she is wealthy beyond any of our imaginations, doesn't mean she is solely responsible (though at times she feels as though she herself should be) for saving the world. She donates her time to help build shelters, to talk and play with the children she meets, she donates beds to hospitals. How can you possibly throw accusations as though she has no right to enjoy any of her own wealth?

As for the question of having biological children when there are so many unwanted children in the world? Brad wanted biological children and she loves him. Am I to understand that anyone who cares as much as Angelina says (and does) she cares about refugees and unwanted children should not have children of their own? Or is it just Angelina who should not have the right to biological children?

117. For your info - I have two adopted children and was always proud to take them anyway! Did not have my own because it was not in God's plan. BUT, has a MOM , it just doesn't look right. It is their family outing and can do what they want. As a GAL for children, I would question that. Bring the whole family on a group play date - not just your adopted children - THEY are the ones that are doing this over and over. If it is to say we are special - well it takes more then that.
