20. Um, okay, if someone punched me in the face I would call the police right away! So, I don't buy this at all. While I'm sure John Lydon is perfectly capable of calling a woman a fat c*nt, I just don't see him punching her in the face. He's all bark and is probably bitter about have no musical staying power like some of his contemporaries (Joe Strummer will always be a legend -- Johnny Rotten, a joke).

24. Yes, if this person was hit in the face, WHY did she not call the police?
I think she is a lying about what really happened and is just taking advantage of the production company.

Every show now is very careful about sexual hassarment and I just can't see someone being asked to go to a Strip Club to check out the girls for the judges, ect.

People like her should not be able to work in the entertainment business. And not be working with Johnny Lydon at all..

25. If this woman was beaten "so badly," then how come a criminal complaint wasn't filed with the police? She's bringing a civil suit a year later? She refuses to still file a police report over the matter? Sounds awefully contrived to me. There are a lot of losers out there in the world who go to work for a celebrity with the sole intention of fabricating stories such as these to blackmail them into paying out large sums of money, and the public is naive enough to believe them.

28. Richard, I think you are 100% right on your American punk genealogy, but I do believe that the Sex Pistols were the seminal punk band in England and were the genesis of the punk movement in London.

Having said that, it makes me cringe to see Johnny Lydon behaving like a douchebag. But, then again, this guy (as well as his other bandmates) were from the slums of London and probably didn't have the most genteel upbringing.
