23. Does anyone know why he would want out of solitary? Seriously.... Does he think the other inmates will treat him like a celebrity?? Right now, he has no worries of being a victim. He can sit in his cell and read all day. Almost sounds like a vacation! Why would he subject himself to the mercy of the other inmates?? Don't get me wrong. He should pay big time for what John is going through but I'm surprised Nick himself wants to be in the general population.

28. I find it interesting how most of the readers find it amusing a minor should receive sexual abuse in a prison. How quickly many of you sit in judgement and are so quick to find pleasure in someone else's misery. The situation alone, will place a stigma on him for the rest of his life. This is not to say he shouldn't be remorseful or "do his time". But he is young and this is still something to be taken into consideration. You abandon him like a piece of trash. Perhaps one day, he can learn and grow into someone who has great contributions to society. Very sadly, a young man's life has been destroyed and tha young man, John is now "incarcerated" in his body for the remainder of his life. But I think we must all realize, our parents want to protect there children NO MATTER WHAT so we must have SOME understanding of Nick's parents behavior. They love him no matter what. Very simply, he is their son. Sadly, everyone affected will pay dearly, emotionally as well as finacially and relationships will be destroyed. At this very sad point in time, can't we simply wish both families the very best in their heartaches and deliema?

He will be just fine in gen pop. Its way better that solitary. Try living in your bathroom for a year and see how your mental state is.

30. This boy knows nothing about true justice. He is very lucky to have the "Hogan" name. Without it he would be in general population where he should be. That unfortunate Marine will spend the rest of his life in a personal hell. I hope someone gets a hold of him somewhere in there and gives him a reason to cry and bi#^*!
