I believe it is quite possible that he wants to be boinked up the butt but realizes that saying so directly is a hillbilly no-no.

Solitary was at least safe. Didn't they let him have books? Or is Nick illiterate?
He should have been happy in safe isolation.
Keep in mind his friend will be imprisoned for life in the shell of a body Nick caused him to now have.
His boredom is far more frustrating than Nicks.
Maybe a fair sentence would be for him to under go surgery to cut the nerves his friend no longer has use of.
Then he'd be in exactly the same prison as the one he created for his friend, John Graziano.
