91. I would suggest that the folks who find TMZ offensive, visit alternate websites. I agree that DEATH is not amusing, especially when its a loved one. However, I for one visit TMZ to find the humor in an otherwise boring or comprimising situation...Irony can be funny and that is the side that TMZ was focusing on....not the woman's death. Lighten up, breath deeply and focus on being happy and seeing the lighter side of life. Don't be so quick to look at something and judge negatively. Move on...

93. I strongly doubt this happened yesterday seeing as we had MASSIVE storms here in DC yesterday and it would have been impossible to go canoeing.

95. #1cookfan....

Please explain where the humorous irony is in making fun of the fact
that a woman found dead did not make great fashion choices? Please
explain that to us...most of us don't share your sick tendencies and
really don't get it.

98. Kelli & Cookfan,

We are so glad you enjoyed our story making fun of this woman's fashion choices.

Because you liked it so much we are trying to do a deal with the local morgue so we can cover many more of these stories for you, make fun of the fashion of dead moms and daughters.

101. Dear TMZ,

I am astonished at the angered respnse to this particular piece of journalism. Don't people reading this realize this is NEWS!?...AND clever quips to boot...I am agog. The issue here is not some "random" dead person who PS is not I repeat NOT a celebrity. The important piece of information we learn is that Linda Carter is still ALIVE.

Of course, if said "dead woman" WAS a celebrity THEN it would be a reason for everyone to react. And then as follows, the papparazzi could do their job and invade the lives of said dead celebrity's family and friends.

Which brings me to an interesting point and even a plea: to murders, be it onetime only's and up to and including serial killers, drug addicts (those of you that are on your last legs), potential suicide folk and folks that are the brink of bankruptcy, foreclosure, dying of some terrible form of cancer etc etc....you know who you are; before you embark on the deed (death, however it comes to you), could you do us all a favour and NOT do it in a celebrity zone..?? It just brings up all kinds of problems as we have just witnessed on this thread. And let's be honest the "dead person" is not important ..well maybe to their loved ones but not to us right? Why? Because, "they are not a Celebrity". The only TIME we should care is...? Come on kids...? "When, they are a DEAD celebrity"
I guess what I trying to say is: everyone just stick to your own. Celebrities die and be discovered by celebrities and regular people die and be discovered by YOUR own. Simple? Effective? Whew. Okay. I'm gonna go have a ham sandwich and a lie down.

104. Just think how you would feel if some TMZ reporter took pictures and wrote that you had a big butt, were stupid or some kind of degrading remarks

I'd go after them and get money!!!

lol

105. This story isn't funny, but I do think it's neat how "Wonder Woman" discovered it. Too bad she didn't get there soon enough to resuscitate the victim :(
