Spike to Clint: "We're Not on a Plantation!"

Director Spike Lee has done what no one thought would ever happen. He's brought back Dirty Harry!

After complaints from Spike Lee claiming that Clint Eastwood didn't include black soldiers in his two Iwo Jima films, Eastwood decided to come back on the controversial director with some words of his own saying, " A guy like him should shut his face."

Lee then further fueled the drama fire saying, "First of all, the man is not my father and we're not on a plantation either. He's a great director ... I didn't personally attack him. And a comment like "A guy like that should shut his face," come on Clint, come on. He sounds like an angry old man right there."

You aren't even fit to mutter Clint Eastwood's name, much less attempt to play this game. Give up now, before you come out looking like the total buffoon you really are.
Director Eastwood makes MOVIES. Just MOVIES. He doesn't play the race card. Not like you, who makes BLACK movies. And they aren't all that appealing to anyone, except those that fall for your politics.

Time to leave, Spike, and lick your wounds.

3. Eastwood's next movie is about Nelson Mandela.
The only racist in this equation is Spike. While I fully respect and revel in the advancement of African Americans - Go Barak!!! -- I feel that Spike exploits and perpetuates racism because it brings him attention. He's just a whiny little twit.

6. Don't the majority of spike lee movies have mostly BLACK actors in them? I'm glad he watches other peoples movies just to see if their are any or an adequate number of black people in them. Because that's whats really important in a story line. Race. Clint is an Icon. And I applaud him for telling spike to "shut his face"!

7. Spike is trying to stir interest in his upcoming movie about African-Americans in WWII.

Playing the race card and taking on one of Hollywood's Best Directors and Actors is a foolish way to go about it. Spike is not in Clint's league.

8. Like others have said, it is clearly being turned into a race thing here when Clint's movie was nothing against black people. Spike Lee is an ignorant racist who doesn't know what he's talking about.

9. The second Spike opened his mouth he was trying to start a race war with Clint. I don't think Spike thought Clint would come back at him like he did. He expected Clint to hook up with Al Sharpton and apologize and ask forgiveness for not hiring blacks.

Funny how racist Spike has to hide behind Obama's name.

10. It's Clint's movie, let him make the damn movie the way he wants to make and Spike can make one the way he wants it. It sounds kind of boring anyway--not the kind of movies I like to go see, but still an interesting part of history.

14. Everyone is tired of hearing the black white thing, it is only a movie and Clint can put anyone he wants to in it besides that Clint has talent, Spike Lee is a no talent big mouth. Go Clint!

15. I am a minorty although probably not the right kind. Spke Lee has been on of those minorities that believes he can say whever he wants too and it is ok because he is black. His movies have always been dominated by blacks, the themes have been about poor minorities and to be perfectly honest his films lack depth. He can not even shine Clints shoes. He is a typical black person who is pissed off because he is rich and successful in spite of being a racist. He is the black Don Imus.
