48. Geez guys take it easy this video tape was obviously taken years ago. He's most likely matured by now; we've all done stupid things in the past. And I'm not gay but even if I were, I wouldn't take offence to the "f-word" in this particular context, but maybe that's just me.

49. This thing has been blown WAY out of proportion. Leave it to people who have been treated like delicate China dolls to write him off as a homophobe. Thankfully, the majority of people see this for what it is: stupid, but not homophobic. And some of those people are gay!

This is just another excuse for the more extreme members of the gay community to whip out the victim card in an effort to drum up support.

Don't listen to them, Shia. Your true fans stand by you. And I'm one of them. You focus on your career, and let US deal with the rest.

50. It's hilarious how the media has to sensationalize everything. The video is funny, and he clearly says it's a bet...so yeah they're drunk and being dudes. One site, The Defamer, said he was "spewing epithets" please!! Everyone talks like that with their friends...sorry, but that word has long been in the lexicon of young straight males, meaning "weak" or "wimp" as someone else said. Stupid stuff!
