So our spies at a few Hollywood restaurants have weighed in on celeb tippers and gyppers. And the verdict is in.

We're told the worst celeb tippers at STK are two of the richest folk in town -- the Beckhams. We're told a restaurant once comped David and Victoria, and guess how much they left by way of tip? Nada.

On the other end of the spectrum, Ryan Seacrest is off the charts, once leaving five hundred dollars on a one hundred dollar tab. He's either a really nice guy or he just sucks at math.

UPDATE: The owner of STK tells us that our spy is wrong, the Beckhams are "great customers and excellent tippers."

31. This all assumes the story is true. It contradicts over a decade of stories about Beckham leaving large tips in the rest of the world -- as well as picking up tabs for others patrons that might have been put out by any fuss around him. Why would he stop here, and why at a place that they frequent? Doesn't make sense. As a matter of fact, it may have been in Canada (where NO ONE tips as I recall from my own waitressing days) but a bunch of these picked up a story about a $900+ tip he left after going out with teammates following a match.

34. tmz got it wrong. in europe, the tip is INCLUDED in the price of services and in many euro countries an additional tip is considered rude - insinuating that restaurants don't pay their staff enough. let's be a little more worldly and well-travelled before jumping to conclusions.

35. 16. Hmmmm. seems to me that tipping is a crock!! If you went to college and had a real job, you wouldn't have to worry about, "...penny-pinchers and cheapskates..." I work hard for my money, so why should I fork it over to someone who has no real skills other than bringing one's entree to the table.

Let them get a college education if they want decent pay!

Don't you think that's a bit shallow? I know plenty of people who went to college (myself included). I had to WORK to support myself in school. I am not a 'trust fund kid' Just because a person is waiting tables does not mean they are
uneducated. From what you are saying you don't tip your server either. Just a thought: how 'bout everybody needs to either work retail during Christmas or work food and beverage once in their lives and know how it is to be on the other side..

37. Why do people think that since you have alot of money you are supposed to leave large tips for servers. I personally tip very well, but if I was rich I wouldn't leave anymore than I do now. They are not intitled to large tips because they try to work at trendy spots where celebs go...it's there money, they earned it and they can do what they want with it...by the way the Beckams are very generous so read up on it...As for Ryan...He's a tool that thinks he's some celeb and he's tryin' to look like a baller...real ones don't need to act...there's a difference between being generous and being foolish with your money..

38. Tipping should be done away with! I've never understood it. I mean, c'mon, do we 'tip' the accountant for doing our taxes correctly, or 'tip' the police officer for protecting our cities, or 'tip' the teacher for teaching our kids how to spell? It's a waiter's chosen job to be a waiter. Expecting more is just ridiculous.

Maybe the Beckhams will start a new trend. How trendy!

41. For everyone that has ever waited tables they prob. hate not getting tips... especially from people as rich as posh and becks. If anything, it might have been the service. I don't think that they are that cheap to not leave a tip for a good waitstaffer. I think it sucks, but karma will bite them in the arse.

There are quite a few americans on here who like to discriminate.. Its like the Beckhams have trampled onto their territory.. "OH NO".. Come on guys/gals.. they could have just made a mistake.. maybe got really crappy service.. you never know.. but dont have to get all discriminatory on them.. We are all human...

44. For those that don't believe in tipping then take your butt to McDonalds, In and Out Burger and the like that do not require tipping to pay their employees. If you go to a restaurant that accepts tips then be prepared to tip the waitstaff. Or you can take your educated cheap ass somewhere else.

45. A family member worked as a chef in Hollywood - David Beckham visited the restaurant - He orded a steak - The steak wasn't as rare as he would like it and he stormed into the kitchen and threatened the chef's life if e didn't get it right. Seems like tis man's ego is beyond stardom.
