Yes I believe all of us know the facts. In the state of Florida, the DRIVER is responsible for making sure all passengers in the front seat are wearing their seat belts. The law doesn't state if the driver is a minor and the passenger is an adult that law doesn't applied. Drinking and driving is against the law. Nick did have a small amount of alcohol in his system, Florida law doesn't allow minors to have any alcohol in their system. Nick was tested 2 hours after the crash. I wonder what the blood alcohol level was immediately after the crash and not 2 hours later? The Clearwater police department used an outdated blood draw form, I wonder if this is why he was not charged with a DUI? The Drivers are held solely for their actions.

As for Nick driving record, it speaks for itself. 4 speeding tickets , some 30 or mph over the speed limit, in less than one year. It was bad parenting that he was driving on that night. He had just had a speeding ticket 2 weeks earlier and been out partying on the boat all day with his dad and friends. Bollea"s boat is a big cigarette boat, Hulk said he wasn't drinking in his presence, I don't how he could have missed him drinking, the boat is all open. Unless Nick was sneaking it.

As for as John goes, S Court, I think he is paying the ultimate price for not buckling his seat belt.

Hulk hogan is a moron, he should be saying what a tradgedy the whole thing is and that its a horrible thing that this boy is in a vegatative state. and he should acknowledge that his son is the reason why. Hulk used to be a positive role model for kids now he is a sad tale of what fame can do to warp your humanity.

349. As to the Hogans comment " it is John's fault that he was injured because he chose not to wear a seat belt" is a crock! If the tables were turned then I guess they would say "We couldn't blame John for Nick's condition. Nick should've worn his seatbelt. We hope John doesn't blame himself for this tragedy"

350. Hulk and Linda need to grow up. You are both at or near 50, dating 19 year olds won't make you young again. Your kid screwed up big time. He needs to pay for what he did so stop whining. Prison isn't supposed to be fun. Instead of planning a reality show why don't you make the kid go to schools or give speeches to other teens so they don't make this same mistake of driving fast and underage drinking? Of course to do that, both himself and his parents would have to feel sorry for the other guy and they don't. Stupid people. They have now shown who they really are. Linda only cares about ther THING and money, Hulk his image and his own kids, no one elses. Disgusting. let Nick and Tucker Chapman be cellmates, neither has any regard for other people.

351. I used to watch Hulk Hogan with my Father (now deceased). Tomorrow I am going to celebrate Father's Day in memory of my best friend & I's fathers. Terry is not a father, he is not a good role model. I have no respect for him or anyone in his family, that is the kind of moral value he raised his kids with? None? Shallow, greedy, make a buck, and how horrible he claims to be spiritual, religious? No one in that family is sorry for that kid whom his son almost killed, who's life will never be the same. They are only sorry for bad publicity, I grew up watching Hulk Hogan, with my father, we liked him, loved watching him, now I find him, his family is disgusting, they are already emotionally bankrupt, the only way they can make amends I think is to donate EVERY DIME THEY HAVE is to charity, bet they wouldn't.
Hulk talks about karma with the person his son almost killed? The one who went to Iraq to protect his country? He obviously has no concept of Karma, that family is very bad karma.

355. Hulk Hogan needs to accept that his son was at fault. God had no part in Nick driving drunk and street racing eventually causing the severe injuries to Nick's friend. God would have stopped him from driving period but little boys must play. It's time for Nick and Hulk to own up and be men accept that it's Nick's fault. However I have a feeling Nick has been a spoiled child and blames everybody and everything else for what happened. It's Nick's bed and he has to lie in it. Hulk it's time to let your son become a man and quit excusing his actions...God had NOTHING TO DO WITH IT BEFORE OR AFTER.

356. What is wrong with some of you people. I understand that what happened to John is very much a sad tragedy, but no one seems to mention the fact that alchohol was involved and that he was the adult and Nick was the minor. I am not condoning this, but lets face it people it was a terrible accident. I am sure Nick did not intend to hurt or even kill anyone, it is nothing more than a terrible accident gone wrong and he deserves the punishment he is facing now. People can be rehabilitated and lets face it its such a tough thing on both families. Lets face it if the name Hulk Hogan was not involved there wouldn't be such a frenzy involved in this. What about the countless number of people whose lives are taken on a daily basis for reckless driving or impaired driving. I don't hear much news on these cases. GROW UP PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!

357. Hulk you should be commiserating over Nick's friend not your son. Nick's friend is the one who can no longer drive, walk, date girls again. Your son can...hopefully after a good lenthy jail sentence. What a f'ng selfish person you and your whole family are. Do the right thing and apologize for your stupid comments! 358. I can't believe he said that. He must be going senile, because a comment like that is so totally absurd and riduculous and degrading, no sane man could have made it. Steroids do deplete a person's brain power. Please throw him in jail for sexually harrassing her daugther. Submit the video to the authorities. This is definitely a situation for Child Welfare. I think everyone should stop and take a long hard look at Nick & Brooke's parents, I pray to God that their reality show is not anything like their real life, I have only watched their show about 10 times, but what I saw made me wonder who are the parents? They all seem to live in their own happy little world with no feelings of being sorry for things they do wrong, even if they are just goofing off, We all have to tell our kids they are grounded or take something away or some kind of punishment for something they do wrong. I have never seen any of this happening, I pray for the young man whose life has been turned into hell because of plain stupidy, It should have never happened!
Hogan family please show some remorse, And if Nick is having problems, have him talk to the chaplin at the jail!
When you have children you are supposed to show responsability so your children can learn it from you!
