Jason Castro is a wonderful Christian young man, who is not a stoner and who would not sleep around, either. 24. actually the reason that the people i know voted for him was that he was out of the ordinary...he has a decent voice, can play several instruments, has written many songs, and was in a pretty good band before all of this...
i'm sure the look factor didn't hurt, but still. and he's not a bob marley wannabe just because he has dreads. sheesh.

By the way, he was a gilfriend who he would never cheat on so it's a moot point! Love how your headline makes him look like a sleaze...what false advertising! 28. Actually, I'm a 26 year old married mother of two, and I voted for him!! He is an amazing musician to me and his voice is raw with emotion. That kinda de-bunks your whole "tweenies voted for him" theory. It is his talent that hooked me, but I adore his sweet demeanor and wish there were more like him!! :) Keep your head up Jason!

Poor guy can't even go out in Los Angeles without being chased by photographers. Bless his heart, he's so naive--
I guess he sees you guys as humorous since he looks like he's about to bust out laughing the entire time you're hounding him.
As usual, Jason shows total class when those around him are acting class-less.
But thanks for giving us more video of the beautiful, honest, talented Jason. He is definately "eye candy" for the masses!

30. This article has a stupid and demeaning title. Jason Castro has the best voice I've heard come out of American Idol in all seven seasons. It's relaxing and inspiring at the same time. His style is old fashioned and at the same time new. One can actually understand the words and feel the meaning in his songs. His appearance is wonderfully wholesome, as Paula stated on the Idol show, he is a beautiful man. I am eagerly waiting for him to come out with an album, hopefully with video. Sure the thirteen year old girls love him, so do their big sisters and their moms and their grandmas. I love his song "Someday, I'm Gonna Be Your Lover." I wish he had sung it on Idol.
