Russert Not Well During His Final Interview

The last people Tim Russert interviewed before he died thought the newsman didn't look so good.

Writers John Harwood and Jerry Seib pre-taped an interview with Russert this morning for this weekend's episode of the "Tim Russert Show." After the interview Seib commented, "I don't think Tim felt very well."

We've asked NBC whether they plan to air this show, and who will step in on "Meet the Press" -- we haven't heard back.

46. He was lawyer, but the usual lawyer jokes and criticism could never be applied to him. Harvey, on the other hand, see what I mean.

47. No one in DC had more brains or dignity than Tim. He will be missed. :(

48. He didn't look well the last few months of his life. Very similar to john Ritter, A very tired and bloated look. Both really nice men. My dad died of heart disease at 44 after having his first heart attack at 40. Very sad to loose such nice men.
