Bud Bundy: I'll Sign Anything ... But That!

David FaustinoDavid Faustino has no problem selling autographed pictures of himself on eBay -- just don't ask him to sign a copy of his own police report.

A big "Married with Children" fan contacted Faustino and asked him if he would sign the actual report from when Faustino was popped for pot possession last year.

Faustino emailed the guy back saying, "If you are a true fan, you're telling me that this is the item you want signed? Not a photo or script? But, rather a negative newspaper article? OK, I will sign it for a fee of $500 and give the proceeds to my charity OXFAM."

Needless to say, the guy passed.

Faustino's rep didn't return a call for comment.

16. I think this was the perfect response.

This "fan" is lucky that he's not like most stars who'd kick the crap out of a person for having the balls to ask for such a thing. How do you have the balls to ask for someone to sign his police report??!! It would be like going up to Nick Nolte and asking him to sign his mug shot and being shocked that he slaps you in the face.

I think it was very reasonable for him to say, if you were a real fan you wouldn't ask me to sign something that I'm ashamed of... but if you want me to sign it, I will for a donation to the charity of my choice.

That is a very reasonable and respectful way to approach this turd's request. WTG DAVID!!

17. I've worked with David in the near past on a movie about the Boston Strangler, coming out in July, where he played Albert Disalvo and I must say that he was nothing but professional. He's a very good actor. Open and accommodating with his fellow actors. He's a very nice guy, nothing pretentious about him at all. He handled this situation with class and tact.

18. yeah, im sure it was some moron from TMZ, probably that long haired blonde wanna-be surfer guy whose hair went out of style in the 80's with Fabio. He probably wanted to get a rise out of david and then make some story about how much of a jerk he is and make some story up teearing him apart. NICE TRY TMZ,

20. One would think that a guy whose career is in the toilet --- would be nice to one of his remaining 5 fans. Good Lord, he needs to get over his short self. It is obviously a slow news day for TMZ because this dude is a has-been.

I am surprised he hasn't signed up for "The Surreal Life" or "Celebrity Rehab"..geez.

Here is a heads up.. If you are in Hollywood and you are barely hanging onto fame by a string --- don't be an a-hole to the few fans you have left.

that's all........

21. Faustino's response showed he is more than gracious. Instead of calling the "fan" a liar, which they were, he called their bluff and they didn't take the bait
1) no "fan" would insult someone by asking them to sign a newspaper article about their arrest for pot
2) curious how TMZ had an "exclusive" on this story----must have been a slow news weekend, so they take to antagonizing people so they can make a "story" on the actor's response
3) this story's about as annoying as when they used to make up scenarios/commentary for Britney Spears, b/c they had nothing to write about that day----I don't think I'll be reading TMZ anymore after this

22. To those of you who think this was a poke from TMZ, your wrong! I was the fan who made the request, and have no affiliation with TMZ. I just thought it would be a cool addition to my autograph collection to have him sign something that I myself also has. A little proof that stars are no different than the rest of us. When are they gonna legalize it?

23. Dude, he's straight-up with his response. Yeah, the requestor was asking for a autograph on a "negative" item and of course in today's Society that makes news. Get the autograph and let the money go to Charity - ALL Celebrities should give their Autograph proceeds to Charity - who knows, it might feed, cloth or house those less fortunate????

24. If I was him I would have responded by saying, "You're probably black aren't you? Ok, if this is what it takes to keep you people from being violent criminals...I'll sign it."

Just sayin'

25. I worked on a movie with David and was around him for almost 30 days. I found him to be one of the nicest people I've ever met. No "I'm Mr. Big TV Star attitude" just a down to earth, friendly guy. What a great guy!!! There was another TV actress on the set of the same movie who was the biggest "B****" I have ever seen - but that's another story.
