Bud Bundy: I'll Sign Anything ... But That!

David FaustinoDavid Faustino has no problem selling autographed pictures of himself on eBay -- just don't ask him to sign a copy of his own police report.

A big "Married with Children" fan contacted Faustino and asked him if he would sign the actual report from when Faustino was popped for pot possession last year.

Faustino emailed the guy back saying, "If you are a true fan, you're telling me that this is the item you want signed? Not a photo or script? But, rather a negative newspaper article? OK, I will sign it for a fee of $500 and give the proceeds to my charity OXFAM."

Needless to say, the guy passed.

Faustino's rep didn't return a call for comment.

31. I'm David's assistant Steve and I help him with his ebay site and answering the emails. I respond on his behalf. From the comments I see from these viewers the majority agree that David did no wrong in this case. Common sense would dictate that you don't tell a celebrity you're a big fan and then of all things...OF ALL THINGS...ask if he would sign a newspaper talkiing about his arrest in Florida. David is a very nice guy and very likeable. He decided to start the ebay thing for 3 reasons. #1) It's a way for him to reach out to his fans worldwide and offer them authentic signed items by him as well as props and scripts that were from Married With Children. He will personalize each item too. Imagine getting a signed photo from a celebrity wishing you happy birthday or congratulations on a special occassion. How cool is that? Very!! #2) In the world of celebrity autographs, the market is flooded with fakes and forgeries. Right now on ebay there are many...and people are buying them thinking they are real. What a shame! David wants his fans to know that through his ebay site they are getting the real thing...and a hand signed Certificate of Authenticity from David as well. #3) A portion of each sale goes to one of David's favorite charities...OXFAM AMERICA. Oxfam America is an international relief and development organization that creates lasting solutions to poverty, hunger, and injustice. Go to his ebay site and check it all out. DavidFaustinoDirect. I watched the story that TMZ ran on David and I didn't hear them say a word about he's doing this for a worthwhile cause. I didn't hear them mention that the item they were showing on the screen was a prop used in 2 episodes of Married...with Children. It's sad that this Jon guy in Florida couldn't just be a normal fan and had to contact TMZ to try and make this a newsworthy report. And, to the guy in comment #20... you are clueless! David is anything but a has been. He's been acting since he was 3. Check out his accomplishments. He's still very much involved in film and television and has several film projects in the works right now. The bottom line is David has already earned the respect of Hollywood and his fans. No need to bash him. He's a great guy and if you see him on the street or at an airport and want a photo op or an autograph...he's always very friendly and obliging to his fans.
