I personally have seen patients on their death bed because of chronic smoking. They still continued. Oxygen tents were just a waste of time.
The stats would be much, much higher for smokers' deaths, except some died from something else, such as accidents, murder, etc!, before the gestation period of cancer came to fruition.
Smoking ages a person like nothing else! Colin should say goodbye to his youthful beauty and sexiness! Because smoke attacks ALL the organs. He should look around at other older smokers, who were so sexy and beautiful not so long ago!
The human body has not evolved to where smoke can be ingested without harm. I don't think it will ever be! The body cannot withstand the attacks on its organs indefinitely. Even some specialist doctors have stated on national tv, thst smoking will cause cancer without fail. The question is WHEN the syptoms will appear. However, there is hope for the individuals who quit in time!.
