35. Most of you have no idea how much work it is to take care of a mentally ill adult. It's not like he just doses out her meds 3 times a day and brings her soup. If he hired a nurse to take care of her 24/7 it would cost four times that. And then he still would have to manage her money, run her house, and keep up with all the legal crap caused by the divorce. This man has given up his job, social life and privacy in an effort to help his daughter get well and keep her out of an mental institution. That is more than any parent of an adult should be expected to do.

Agreed. And furthermore, Jamie is seeing to it that Britney is no longer blowing 122,000 every month on entertainment and dining out, as she herself stated in court docs that she filed. Compared to that, 10,000 going to daddy every month is a bargain for her estate. Even if you include the fees going to Britney's lawyers, the total is still a lot less than 122,000 per month, and they have gotten the estate in much better financial shape.

So what's the problem?

41. I'm not a Brit fan and have nothing against Jamie. All i have to say is when this is all over just to err on the side of caution that she hire an outside account to go over ALL of the financials from this time and have Jamie account for every thin dime of her money that he spent. Yeah he may be in charge of her life right now, but its still HER money and relatives and outsiders take advantage of the mentally and physically ill all the time.

As for this being KFed's fault; normal well adjusted ppl do not flip out over divorce. Two Britney brought this upon herself. He left another woman no just any woman but the PREGNANT mother of his children for her. What was supposed to keep him from walking out on Brit? Yes he's a dog but he's a sane Son of A B*tch

44. All of these life lessons should have been taught to her long ago now they are trying to play catch up because they didn't instill any self responsibility to her when she was on top of her game. Being a parent never ends nor should you be paid monetary for it. They should have taught her how to take care of herself and business when she was making millions.
