Paula Deen might want to cut down on the butter. A small fire -- caused by a bunch of greasy rags -- broke out last night around 11:00 PM at her restaurant in Savannah. Don't worry though, they're open for lunch today!
Deen's son Jamie told a local paper "I think if we get one round of fried chicken goin' in here you won't smell the smoke at all."
When she heard the news, Paula rushed to the scene in her bathrobe and slippers.
31. The people writing comments about Jamie and Bobby cutting the apron strings do not have a clue how hard these two guys have worked. They started as teenagers helping their mom start this business. They were the ones who walked the streets and went to business selling her bag lunches when they couldn't afford to rent a restaurant. They were the ones who worked at the restaurant at the Holiday Inn to help their mom, etc. So to say they are using her is a stupid statement. People should get the complete story before judging people.

32. I had the pleasure of visiting Savannah in May. I waited in line 2 hours for a reservation for lunch at The Lady and Sons. All was wonderful, The food, the service, all was great. Then we visited the gift shop.....my, oh my she certainly forgot where she came from... The price of her merchandise was incredible. $10 for bisquit mix?? A bit much for me. Sandra

33. PAULA IS GREAT, I LOVE HER. WISH SHE WAS RELATED TO ME SO I COULD HAVE SOME OF HER GREAT FOODS ON A DAILY BASIS. HOPE TO ONE DAY GET TO SAVANNAH TO HER LADY AND SONS.
