Billy Ray Cyrus just won't stop slinging the smelly stuff at Annie Leibovitz and Vanity Fair over those saucy Miley shots -- comparing the situation to "stomping in poop."
Of course, when "Today's" Meredith Vieira asked him where the hell he was when the infamous shot was taken, he apparently had more important things to do than look after his baby.

Billy Ray needs to accept the fact that he screwed up and stop blaming everyone else, no good parent would ever leave their child alone in that situation, what could have been more important than staying with your child? Annie is a great photographer but her photos of Miley were terrible, she made Miley look sickly and pale not very flattering at all. Next time protect your child Billy Ray because nothing is more important than our children.

47. Billy Ray and company are liars! If you are not aware, at a professional photo shoot, polaroid test shots or digital test shots are taken. These test shots are shared with the subject and "her people", and last minute changes in the composition and equipment settings are made. A professional photoshoot is a collaborative process. There were no surprises, that is until the public uproar began. And that's when the Cyrus rednecks started blaming the photographer and proclaiming their ignorance of these provacative shots. Now they are playing on the ignorance of the public when it comes to the internal workings of a photoshoot. I wish the born-again Cyrus' would all go back to Hooterville or wherever they came from.

48. Man we are such prudes here in America! The picture was not that big of a deal IMO. Girls wear backless or low cut dresses showing cleavage to their senior proms, should we pixilate the naughty bits in their photos? My sister just posted a photo on facebook of her new baby with his little naked ass showing, should I call the police?
If parents don't want their little girls to pose like their idol Miley, then try talking to them for crying out loud, because you sure as hell can't control what they see in the media.
But I do have to agree with: take off those stoooopid glasses, Billy!

49. I wish everyone would just get over this, Miley's picture didn't show any more skin than miley's own pics on her cell phone. The photo shoot was tasteful & as you can see from the video she was wearing clothes on the bottom half & her top was completely covered. This is just showing how " politically" correct things have become in our society. I hope Miley isn't damaged by all the crticism of people who liken this to a " soft porn shoot" .

52. I ran out of Crisco and Pinesol so I headed to Wal-mart where I saw multiple end caps chock full of Miley crap. School supplies, little girl clothes, coin purses, etc. Not exactly flying off the shelves.
High School Musical stuff was all mixed in there too.

54. I watched him on the Today show and he said that he was going to play in Washington, then Anchorage for the troops coming home from Iraq and that was the more important thing to do. He needs to be a parent first, but that can be said about many celebrities.

58. Oh give me a break!!! Annie is one of the most famous photographers in the world plus she's been with disney much longer than little miley has been. Let's all not forget that before the backless pic was out that Miley took some pics of herself at home showing off her bright green bra, and yet again before that 2 years ago when she was 13 only she was with a friend and they both took half nude shots of each other. It's only gonna be a matter of time before she ends up like Lindsey or britney...lookat what their parents did to them just for the fame & riches.....

I blame Miley....she should have common sense, what if they said miley take your clothes off and lets pose naked, she will do it, then later say, well they took advantag of me. And I don't think Annie took advantage of her, because supposedly the publicist was there. So thats when the publicist should have stepped in and said no this might hurt her image, shes too young, etc. Billy Ray needs to stop and smell the roses and realize if he doesn't stop Miley she's gonna end up being a slut whos in rehab. Yes, shes young and yes shes always been a good role model, but if you really look at it, shes not. She's so close to posing naked, its pathetic. I mean think about it, if playboy wants your daughter to pose naked in a magazine, shouldn't that make you think, shes doing something bad, to make people get that idea in their head to see her naked. The whole family is in it for the money, if she wants to still b successful, then she needs to take a step back, and breathe.
