32. I can't believe that a child would be so rude as to ASK Johnny Depp for his hat. And the parents were there and thought it was okay. And then wrote the production company. If the hat hadn't been sent, would they have sued? Probably; they come across as the clueless, lack-of-class type who would. I don't think the kid should have gotten the hat at all. The nerve! This sense of entitlement just makes me angry and is a reflection of our greedy "it's all about me" society. I love Johnny Depp, but I'm disappointed that he fell for this extortion.....and that's exactly what it was. What kind of lesson are these parents teaching this brat? What will he ask for....and expect to be given next.....? Grrrrrr.....

33. First and foremost Johnny Depp hands down one of the best actors of our time . He is very giving and obviously a caring individual , Down to earth and Understands being a star comes with all sorts of responsibilities and expectations to deliver . Awesome guy and admirable .

Jack Taylor happens to be my nephew who had received the hat from JD. Hes a very polite young man very happy very confident . Yes he asked Johnny for his hat ,JD said you can have it after I'm Done with it . Well I'm sure Jack didn't expect to actually get the hat and other things . What you have is an excited 12 year old meeting a huge star which he admires and asking for something from him out of that admiration . So My Sister decided well lets send a letter and see what happens not expecting anything from an Obviously busy JD. Well JD Came through on his promise and even remembered that my Nieces loved the Charlie and the Chocolate factory movies send some willy wonka pillows and other things which was amazing . We all Know he didn't have to do this My Sister and nephew are not so shallow to go DEMAND any thing that's not how our family operates . She was Very polite about it and even wrote an apology note to Johnny for all the trouble .

I think What people don't realize is that JD didn't know the address cause I'm sure if he did being the man he is it would have been sent anyways , What i am also sure of is my Sister wrote that letter not to harass JD or his agent but to possibly have an excellent keepsake for her son . She took a shot and He delivered whats the problem with that ? It was one Letter not 20 , that's Harassment . Besides It wasn't my sister who told the press anything to get this whole thing rolling it was other people who found out and let the press know . It was going to be kept quiet instead now its on every major news channel around the world.

In closing i wont try to understand why people can turn an act of good faith and something exciting for a 12 year old boy into all sorts of trash talking negativity , I will however say God bless Johnny and you folks .
