Hillary Clinton Booked in Colorado

Hillary Clinton... well, overbooked is more like it.

Sources tell TMZ that Team Hillary had reserved hundreds of Denver hotel rooms for staffers and supporters during the Democratic National Convention in August -- rooms they really won't be needing anymore!

Now, we're told the campaign has sent emails to politicos, charity organizers and supporters who might be looking for a place to stay for the big bash!

Calls to Hillary's camp have not yet been returned.

UPDATE: Hillary's peeps say this is "incorrect" and the campaign "plans to use its entire block of rooms."

32. Hillary and Bill are such FAKES and untrustworthy. Can't stand either one of them. Obama is MUCH too liberal, besides having no experience on the world stage. If you want your taxes to go way up, vote for him. He will say and do anything to get elected. So, even though I'm not wild about McCain, I will be voting for him because of his classy wife Cindy. She will make a great First Lady and will keep her husband from doing anything stupid.

Hillary's biggest mistake was that she did not divorce her cheating husband before she ran for president. Many of us, (myself included), did not want Bill Clinton anywhere near the White House again. If she lets her husband walk all over her, what kind president would she make?

I would have liked to have a female president this time. It's just that I want one who has self respect.

34. Cheryl Soto in Indiana...
"They should of investigated Obama's friends before they allowed him to run..." (sorry, had to take your caps away, they're annoying as hell)

Okay, I'm sorry, but that has got to be one of *the* dumbest statements I've heard in this entire election cycle so far and as we all know, there have been some pretty dumb statements.

First of all, if the DNC were all about "allowing" or "not allowing" people to run, why the heck did they "allow" so many in the beginning, it looked like a 3 ring circus for a while. (okay, it did for half the cycle, but I think y'all know what I mean)

Second... *Obama* isn't the only one who had some ties that turned out to not look so good. Only thing is, we already knew about Hillary's "friends" and yet people still voted for her... go figure.

Third... Voting republican? Really? Gonna vote for the guy who *courted* (for their endorsement and fund-raising dollars) a few guys who made Rev. Wright look like Ol' Mother Hubbard?? The one who can't remember half of what he said let alone what he's supposed to say at important times (including on television and has to be corrected by a fellow Senator)? The one who has Lieberman on his side... who completely dissed the entire Democratic party (not by going independent, that in itself was a necessary evil at the time, but by stomping on those who were loyal to him) by becoming Bush's lap dog? The one who supports Bush... I'm sorry... President Bush blindly just as President Bush has supported others blindly like, say Mike Brown and... oh... Scooter Libby by stating his full support without even knowing what the individuals had *said*?

But hey, sure, if you want more of the same "old boys club" type politics who toss around the word "War" as if it meant nothing or that we didn't realize that uh... guess what... we never *declared War* just so that they can try to pass or by-pass this law or that which can only be done *if* war has been declared? Then maybe you should vote Republican, 'cuz that's the only way it's going to keep happening.

__________

And to the one who said she was thinking of staying home (and others contemplating it)...

If you have a problem with the ticket, either vote cross party (*only* if you find their statements and views agreeable to you, I mean) or *write* someone in. There are *never* only two candidates in a presidential election. Never. And you can always write someone else in. Vote for who you voted for in the nomination process. Just *vote*. Otherwise, you lose your right to bit*h about who was elected and how they're running the country and you step on all of those who *can't* yet vote and are counting on you to help elect the right people.
____________

And please remember folks, while the President of the United States is a very important position, it is not as so many claim "the most powerful" position in the Country, let alone the world. This is one reason *why* we need to elect the right people. So that the President / Executive Branch does not become any more powerful than the Judicial or the Legislative. They are all meant to be *Equal* or our system will fail completely.

37. I still can't believe the number of people who choose the person they want as president based on their age, sex, heritage, looks, or any of the other things we expect employers to ignore. Get real! This should be an exercise in logic, not emotion. How about looking into the candidates' voting records and finances, and getting a bead on whether they have the integrity, ability to work constructively with people who have readically different viewpoints, and judgment to be president?
