I love how people get so angry towards Bush. Take a look at history. Stop hating your own country and get a set of balls. A lot of these comments leave me scratching my head. Furthermore, why should people who don't want the government telling them how to live be called 'gun toting'? Because they enjoy the simple liberties this country offers and the Democratic Party wants nothing more than to make the average citizen dependent on the government?

Oh, and GWB kept repeated 9/11's at bay; in case you hadn't noticed we haven't had any other attacks. At least GWB is willing to fight to protect us. Obama will just use his awesome power of speech to protect us from Iran when the nukes are pointed at us in 2009.

65. 62: I agree. Gas Prices aren't going to go down until

1. The Democrats stop screaming about drilling for oil in ANWAR and off the coast of Florida. [Note: Did you know that China is allowed to drill off the coast of Cuba, but due to the idiot Dems the US IS NOT.] (Even this is only a temporary fix)

and

2. The prices won't go down as long as people continue to pay $5 a gallon to drive their extremely fuel efficient 10MPG SUVs. Supply and Demand. When we as a society stop being so dependent on fuel, it'll go down in price. But, since we're such a vapid, materialistic society - it'll never happen. People just HAVE to drive their big flashy SUVs to make up for what they lack in other regions. ;)

I'm not exactly why you people think the president has this power over gas prices or OPEC. He doesn't. Use your brains and OMG the internet to learn exactly what goes on instead of relying on your precious liberal media.
