32. Whoever here said that David is retard are the retards themselves. These people who wrongly accuse a gracious and humble 17 year old kid who didn't do anything to them should seriously look at themselves in the mirror. How can these people wake up in the morning and still feel great. You've got to have a heart to appreciate David Archuleta. Obviously, if you don't have one like the TMZ people, you wouldn't ever get how precious the kid is just because the kid is composed of mainly his heart and soul and that's what he offers me and millions of his fans. 35. How many teenagers can say that they have a working partnership with their dad? How many can say that he is a friend as well as a father? Conversely how many children don't have a dad today because the men and women who made them have failed them and they are now living in foster homes or worse?
David is kind, thoughtful, peaceful and very polite. Kids that are mentally abused aren't like that at all; they are the polar opposite. Jeff Archuleta is a great father, and if you can find any proof besides a retarded Naomi, and the so called "sources" that shot out of your A S S, then you'd still be wrong, because you probably just made it up.
This is a pointless post.
And David isn't retarded, why would he have a 4.0 grade average, and taking honors classes?
He's getting homeschoold because he NEEDS to, whats he gonna do, get mobbed by hundredds of girls everyday at his school?
And why would Jeff be there while he's getting tutored, he has a job you know.
It was David's choice in the first place to get tutored.

36. Of course he has to study privately, just as any other child entertainer! Not only will he be travelling and busy working, but if he went back to his high school the place would be mobbed every day and the school wouldn't be able to carry on normally! As for the stupid comment about his dad, I'm sure David will have a tutor just like he did when he was on AI. Stop already with the stage dad crap. David's voice coach, contestants on AI, and most importantly David himself have clearly stated that the rumors were FALSE so get over the fact that you can't find any dirt on this awesome kid and go pick on someone who actually has dirt like Lindsay Lohan or Britney!

And David not going back to his school is not breaking news, he said as much after the AI finale not to mention it's pretty obvious the tour will still be going while school is in session. 40. A lot of you guys are sad! David is such a great role model to look up to, and you are putting him DOWN? Do we see a little problem with society today? I don't know what kind of people you are to say negative things about David and why even post a rude comment on here. There is NO excuse to put him down. And none of you know the whole story with David and his family, except he himself. So just cut it out and leave him alone. David deserves the best!

41. I don't know why this is considered a big news story. I don't think too many people are surprised Archuleta is not going back to high school and is going to do the home school thing. Who wouldn't?????? Come on...this talented kid has a future in the music industry...missing his senior year I'm sure is the last thing on his mind. 43. This is the thing - he is very talented (although I WAS a Cook fan). But his father is going to ruin him. He needs the socialization of school - you can tell that by the dopey way he handled himself when he wasn't singing. His dad is going to push him into things and places that he is not ready for, and he is going to end up broke and perhaps worse.

Give the kid - child - a chance, for God's sake.

44. Facts...He was a 4.0 student. His Dad is a great guy. He is not gay. TMZ sucks.
School here in Utah starts middle of August and the tour doesn't even end until the middle of Sept. He will have a tutor for that time and then he has to get his album out so will need a tutor while it is being recorded. So, he will be unable to go back to public high school for that period of time and after that the best decision possible will be made by David as to what he wants and needs to do. He cares about his education and will graduate no doubt. He is a caring, kind person and an absolutely amazing singer. I voted for him and will buy his music and go to his concerts. I wish him the best. I hope he is able to ignore slanderous and hateful people. He has done nothing to deserve this trash. Enough already.
