All the actors you mentioned practically reached their fame in the US. So even someone living in a cave knows them. However, there are MANY Canadian actors that are known only in that country. This guy that TMZ is making fun of, could be one of them.
And another thing... a lot of Canadians live in the US and have been living here for decades. So obviously, they have lost touch with goes oon and aboot their country.

17. I'm Canadian. I've never heard of this guy in my life, or that show. Also, we don't say aboot, we're not all lumberjacks living in igloos, Hockey's big here, but it's not the only thing we watch. And we don't all have pet mooses. So how about everyone get that out of their head. Thanks =)

19. I don't know this guy, but he's cute and humble. It took me a second to realise hes the same guy who is in the TIme Square billboard. Whoever he is, I wish more "celebrities" were like him.

21. Stupid F'n Americans think they are the only country in the world that are "in" the loop of what goes on. The truth is, Americans are so friggin ignorant and have this idea of canada that we all are still living in the stone age.
No Wonder AMERICANS are HATED in all parts of the world. Proud to be American? HAHAHA im DAMN PROUD TO BE CANADIAN! 22. It's funny when TMZ busts a celebrity's chops for being too full of himself. In this case, though - it seems like this guy (I also have no idea who he is, and I'm canadian too) was being entirely humble, and laughing at the fact that he was being followed by a pap. For you guys to package this up with snide comments ("Daytime emmys - he's got a lot to learn, etc") makes you look like the fools. Stick to ragging on the true celebutards who haven't figured out that their 15 minutes is up, and treat the seemingly normal, humble, polite guys like this with some respect!

23. There is no such thing as Canadians that are just famous in Canada. I live in Ontario, and most of my T.V. stations either come straight from the U.S., or if they are Canadian stations, most of the shows are from the U.S.
That show was on our government funded t.v. station called the CBC (picture PBS that plays commercials and hockey). No one watches/watched.
This guy is super cute and sweet, I hope he does well!

I don't get to watch tv cause we don't have cable on the reserve here in the city of Toronto, but whenever I get the chance I get my huskies and go to the community teepees where somebody has one. Takes forever to get there though cause the Mounties always want to pull me over when they arrive on their horses and want to give the huskies a ticket for going to slow on the path. Oh well...at least I can catch what is going on with the Chiefs computer when I bring him a nice homemade meal of blubber from a whale and seal stew.

28. Well in the summer we go to Caledonia and live in the teepees...I miss my igloo though, but the kids get to enjoy spear fishing this summer in Lake Ontario .
