Jeff Gordon: Champ On the Track & In the Sack

He's not ready to have another baby yet -- but Jeff Gordon's wife says they're getting in a lot of practice.

Just look at Ingrid and it's easy to see why Jeff's probably trying for as much off-road training as he can get.

16. To: It's Not Fair.

As a woman, I want to stick up for your wife - but - my husband and I have been married for 21 years. He's the same weight from when he played college football - 6'1", 180. I'm still a size 6, 120 lbs.

Perhaps you could work out a diet / exercise plan together. Good luck!

17. Gordon's having a tough race year this year... perhaps a little less nookie and a little more concentration on the track would be a good thing.

18. Angie - I appreciate your comments. Women should stick up for each other, more than look at thin women as the enemy. But as far as my wife, it's hopeless. Bringing that up turns to big arguments about body image, not loving her for who she is, etc. You know, maybe if start donating my money, take away the lifestyle that she enjoys, maybe I'll see if she loves me for me, too. Seriously considering, given that many families need a break.

19. to it's not fair don't mean to butt in but I had the same, problem overweight and not happy. What my husband and daughter did was to say hey let's go for a walk so we can talk. Just getting out of the house and walking and talking together took the pain out of the walk and gave us a chance to get closer. I have started losing but the thing that had me not getting defensive was the fact that they cared and weren't shoving it down my throat. Now that we started it is easier and we have fun even stared going to the nature trails. As someone that is overweight there is alot of physical pain that makes it hard to start as well as depression. It is a pretty vicious cycle you are depressed and eat then eat because you are depressed. I understand loving someone for who they are but it's pretty hard to love and respect someone that is slowly killing themselves.

20. Jeff Gordon is gay. He has been gay for years. He lives with a Man in New York in the off-season. His wife and him are rarely seen together outside of photo ops.

22. It's not Fair!
You're complaining about your wife’s appearance but I'm sure she has complaints too. Instead of focusing on her size try focusing on the bigger picture of what is really going on.

27. It makes me laugh when people call Jeff Gordon gay. I have come to realize these people are the ones who are TRULY in love with him and are JEALOUS. Come out of the closet and admit it! Whatever!

29. To: It's not fair, I hope you come back and read this. I have to agree with you totally. It's not fair that you married a size 6 that is now a size 20. But I have to ask what is the root of the weight problem? Did she have children and didn't get rid of the baby weight? Is she depressed? You said your wife said people who are thin are superficial. That is not a fair or a true statement. It sounds to me like she has some emotional issues that need to be addressed. I would encourage you both to seek out professional help by someone who is fair to both sexes (because I know there are counselors who tend to side with the woman out there). Someone who can help you both express your feelings in a non judgemental way.

I wish you both luck and success for a long happy and fulfilling mariage.

30. P.S. If Jeff Gordon is gay #1 that' between him and his wife. #2 he's doing something right because from the looks of things SHE'S not complaining. And finally so what he has his cake and eats it too!
