Celebrity Justice
Rapper Young Jeezy in the Big Heezy!

TMZ has learned rapper Young Jeezy was popped early this morning in Atlanta driving like a crazy person!

Cops arrested the Jeez around 2:30 AM on a whole mess o' charges, including DUI, speeding, reckless driving, no tags, driving with an open container and no proof of insurance. Somebody get Geico on the phone!

Jeezy -- whose real name is Jay Jenkins -- was released this morning on bail. He'll be back in court on July 17.

We tried to reach his reps, but they haven't called us back yet.

31. DeanMoriarty + richardspeck = true racist inbred lovin

Huh??

How does that make me racist or inbred? Anyone who doesnt care for rap is automatically racist? Come on, give me a break. I never mentioned or even implied anything about skin color or race. I just said I would take a break from here until they stop reporting on rappers because apparently it's Rappers Week here. There is nothing racist about that statement. I could have easily said "it must be Trashy Skank Week" in reference to Paris Hilton or Lindsey Lohan, etc but there's only been one story about her today that I know of. Sounds to me like a knee-jerk, "shoot first and ask questions later" response. It's gotten to the point that you cant even express disagreement with someone about anything without being labeled racist. Before you jump on the "he's an inbred hillbilly racist" bandwagon, check and make sure you're right first. It's not always about skin color, guys.

32. last time i checked TMZ was a celebrity news column. So it doesnt matter if the celebrity is black, white, orange, or green. So of "you" people are ridiculous with these comments. No this is not something news worthy, cause he wasnt driving my car, but he is a celebrity in his own right. Maybe TMZ just had some extra space to write about something.

36. First of all, last time I checked this was a celeb news site. Jeezy is a celeb, whether you racist people want to open your eyes and realize that or not. So he's not Brody Jenner, doesn't mean he isn't popular in his own right. Deal with it. It was a stupid move on his part, but hey, look at all the WHITE people making stupid moves on here. People bleed the same color..stop looking only skin deep,

37. It's funny how rappers do so much around the American communities, but they only get light shed on their mishappenings. I mean, people in Hollywood are glorified in a sense for being caught doing far worse, but portrayed as "young, dumb and havin fun!" I guess the "American" communities they [rappers] serve and some times protect, is AFRICAN American communities. Afterall the Young Hollywoods' I was referring to is overwhelming white and rich---in America money talk, but apparently skin color scream!!!!
