Furthermore, in places like Los Angeles there are a hell of a lot more self-absorbed, superficial, greedy, materialistic, narcissistic, immature, clueless parents hitting the clubs at night, doing drugs, and letting others take care of their kids than you'll find in any Southern community. And I'm talking percentages as well as absolute numbers. And in L.A., the kids are not even taken care of by family members while their parents are out being selfish and cool and chemically incapacitated.

I'm very happy JLS had a healthy little girl and her mom and childs father were there to hold and welcome the blessing...this child will be loved and cared for , no doubt in my mind, but I worry abt other young girls who r't using birth control thinking this is REALITY!...WAIT GIRLS!!...save ur babysitting money and make sure the guy wears condoms if u have sex. All good things come to those who wait. With that said..congrats to the Spears/Aldridge familys.

Jamie should of sold her baby pics to the highest bidder like the other Hollywood

It pisses me off when people hear about a woman having a c-section they act like it's the end of the world and how they've 'ruined' their bodies but nobody bats an eye when a woman pushes a baby out of her vagina and is ripped from side to side and loses all sensations down there and the men start to cheat because of the looseness.....

Gee stephc5, you're full of misinformation. The only thing you got right was that the incision is done at the pubic hair line, and can't be seen while wearing a normal size bikini. Giving birth vaginally DOES NOT STRETCH OUT THE VAGINA. It returns to it's original tone within weeks of giving birth. Any tears or incisions that are present, are cleaned and stitched right after the delivery. This includes an episiotomy that might have been done to widen the opening of the vagina.

Women lose tone "down there" mostly because of aging and the reduction of estrogen in their bodies. I guess that it is possible to lose tone by giving birth if you have a number of babies for a number of years, Female bodies are designed to give birth.

Vaginal birth is preferred because it is safer than a C-section, (which is a surgical procedure). The mother needs a longer time to recover from a C-section. They should only be done when the birth canal is too small for the baby to pass through or in many cases, a breech birth. There are other reasons to have a C-section, but I hardly think that a seventeen year old is in danger of losing the tone of her vaginal muscles from giving birth.

There seems to be a trend to have unnecessary C-sections because of misinformation like you wrote, and because it is more convenient for the mom.

119. Yes, marriage DOES count. Having a baby without being married statistically pretty much guarantees, if not outright failure, then at least extreme diffuculty for both you and the child. You are starting out in a hole that you then have to dig not only yourself, but a child out of. And it gets harder as the child gets older as their needs increase in order for them to have success in life. Also, going on welfare in order to make this situation work for you is CHEATING. How can you essentially say, "I can take care of the child myself, I don't need a husband" and then turn around and say to everyone "you have to give me some of your money so I can raise my child"?? Stupid and selfish!
As to the 50% divorce rate? Obviously alot goes into this- expectations, preparation, willingness to committ and compromise, etc.. But even with the odds as they are perceived to be, wouldn't you buy a lottery ticket if you had a 50-50 chance of winning?
