We're told new daddy Casey Aldridge was so nervous the first time he held his daughter, he told the family he was scared he'd drop her!

TMZ spies say that Casey and Mama Lynne were the only ones in the OR when Maddie was born -- Brit Brit waited outside anxiously. We hear that the family is thrilled that baby Maddie is "happy, healthy and gorgeous" and our source says the family is closer than ever.

Jamie Lynn is expected to remain in the hospital for a few days, but big sis is already back at the house with her fast food fix.

20. I bet, that while this is a happy time for her, it must be a difficult time for her also. I'm sure she never envisioned her babies being took from her; I remember how happy she was after she had them. Darn, I had kind of wished Britney would have a cute little girl. Well, she's still young--it could happen someday. Congrats Jamie Lynn and Casey.

22. Having a baby at 17 is extremely difficult.

Being a good parent takes a level of maturity that teenagers haven't got yet. Even a very mature 17 year-old - is still a 17 year old physically and mentally. Although the money and family support will help, it won't make up for what Jamie-Lynn simply hasn't got to give yet. There will many mistakes that won't even be realized for years, and regrets that will last a lifetime.

I speak from experience. My son was born with I was 17.

25. Oh give me a break TMZ, all new father's are like that and most new father's have said it. And for some of the comments I just read, WOW, I'm sorry to hear that your life is so miserable. To project your nastiness on other people is amazing.

No one still has proven to me why is it automatic that we think celebrities should be in a role model position to the people who are not a celebrity?? I'm sorry but there is not one celebrity not even Angelina Jolie or Brad Pitt in my opinion are role models.

Teenagers are getting pregnant all the time, just because one happened to be an actor its now a big deal. Let me hear all the uproar on the 17 teenage girls in one school are pregnant. Of course there will be uproar like the one you are posting about this teenager, but a uproar on the school or community and what went wrong. Some of you people are such hyprocrites.
