Eli's Wifey: Needs to Call a Fashion Audible?

Eli Manning, Abby McGrewSuper Bowl champ Eli Manning and his prom date wife, Abby McGrew, showed up to an event in New York City this week, looking content.

Fashionistas are sniffing about her get-up, saying it's "too short, too tight, and doesn't fit well. The zipper doesn't zip and she's bursting out of it."

Wait, is that a bad thing?

18. "Fashionistas" are the reason fashion is so boring. Everyone's trying to follow the acceptable trends and ends up looking exactly the same.

19. She ia adorable!!!! He is not catch anyways. Money yes, looks no. Hopefully he knows how lucky he is and will not screw it up.

20. I'd rather see that dress that that fugly disgusting green hat Sara Jessica Parker wore the the SATC movie premier. This chick is the wife of a quarterback-why is she expected to be a fashion icon. She's probably from somewhere like Mississippi

21. I don't see anything wrong with what she has on. Purple isn't exactly high on my list of colors I'd normally wear, but it suits her.

chill out "Fashionistas"

22. Wow, this site is all about character assassination eh?

23. The fashionistas must have had their vision obstructed by untamed strands of bed-head hair gluing themselves upon the lenses of their glasses with frames that would look stupid on us but are considered trendy on them.

24. I agree with what pretty much everyone here said. She looks fine. And I love the color of her dress!
Don't know what she studied in college, but I'll bet she could come out with a clothing line that's made to be comfortable (i.e., for "real" women!) & reasonably priced.

25. She does not look perfectly fine. The fashion critics were correct. Just look at the picture, she does look like high school mentality, too tight, too short, the color, the handbag and she still looks star struck by her surroundings, i.e. the red carpet. I sure hope there is love there because in this photo it looks like she's too into media attention. Kind of reminds me of Jessica Simpson's attempt to get attention, albeit a less lewd way.

26. The dress fits perfectly and she looks impeccable. Once again TMZ has it all wrong. All you have to do is check your fashion mags and celebrity dresses this season and you will see the same thing all over the place.
