Walk of Fame Says Chimp's a Chump!

Legendary chimp thespian Cheeta's chance to have his name permanently etched on the Walk of Fame has just been shot down. What a load of ape dump!

The 76-year-old chimpanzee actor, who's starred in flicks like "Tarzan" and "Bedtime for Bonzo," didn't receive enough votes from the Walk of Fame Committee to have a star placed in his honor in '09.

If Cheeta's not good enough, who is?? Apparently Tinker Bell. That lame ass fairy is getting a star. And we're sure that has nothing to do with the fact that there's a Disney store on the Walk and the "Tinker Bell" movie is coming out in the fall.

Oh yeah -- and the Village People got one too.

16. Tinker Bell, Lassie and Rin Tin Tin were all good and kind, and wanted to make things better. Lassie and Rin Tin Tin ALWAYS saved the day. Cheetah was a thieving, conniving, pain in the ass. He tormented the other animals, pilfered anything he could get his hands on, and ran in the opposite direction when Tarzan or Jane called him. If he had been human, he would have been state prison material. Think that could have something to do with it?

17. If Cheeta voted for Obama he would get his star.

18. Beleive it or not, I along with other friends and also members of the WGA have tried to get Robert Towne, writer of "China Town" which many think is the greatest script ever written as star for 3 years now and he has been turned down for the likes of Tinkerbelle, Erik Estrada, Ryan Seacrest and Donald Trump! It's all a publicity scam. A screenwriter (and I mean just a screenwriter, not a director/screenwriter) has NOT received a star in like 15 years! Write in to the Chamber for Robert Towne!

19.

I vote for Cheetah! I'd rather kiss his hairy lips and smell his rotten banana breath than kiss or shake the hand of some of the "stars".

I'd have to hide my Cheetos, though. He's old, but he's still a sneak thief.

22. Where's Actor's Equity and the Screen Actors' Guild? They should be making some noise. This ape's got legs. Have his people call my people...

23. An actor that looks this good for his age deserves props. Btw, I cringe at the Tinkerbell movie.

24. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has once again denied the public their chance to celebrate and honor Cheeta, a real Living Hollywood Legend and Star, one of the few last survivors of Hollywood's Golden Age! They should have felt honored to be able to present him with his long overdue and well deserved star! Cheeta. probably the most famous and well known ape, has played a major role in Hollywood's Movie Hoistory since the 1930's. He is still in the business today. He is also makeing a difference in today's world, with donations and auctions for his Apestract paintings , going to help the C.H.E.E.T.A Primate Sanctuary and chimps in Africa. Sounds like "Fairy dust" has more weight than "Chimp change", in this case! Shame on the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce!
