55. A woman can have sex with a man everyday and he can still cheat. There are many reasons why a man cheats and it can be deep and psychological, on many different planes. He could just have an appetite for the "new" and different. who really knows? The fact that he chose an 18 year old tells you something about him. If he had chosen another woman close to his age, it would seem less perverted.

57. To #33 diane, are you crazy or what? Lack of sex makes a spouse cheat? NOT! That is the lamest excuse for cheating. I think Christie Brinkley's biggest problem is her choice of men. She is a very attractive woman but yet she goes from one failed marriage to another and sex has nothing to do with it. There is more to the story than Peter Cook cheated with an 18 year old because he lacks sex with his wife. He made the choice to be unfaithful. She made the choice to marry him and have his child. I wonder if Ms. Brinkley even understands that she does not need a man to make her life complete? This is divorce #3...could be more. But she needs to concentrate on herself and being a good mother to her kids. Not falling in love and marrying over and over again. I am sure she has contibuted to the downfall of her marriages but to say men leave her because she is no good in bed or does not give enough sex is ludicrous. Grow up diane.

He is a MIDDLE AGED man and SHE is his middle-aged wife. It is not about how beautiful she is or how avilable she is. Men need sexual variety from time to time. And the older a man gets the greater the need to experience that variety with YOUNGER women. Even if the wife gives it up 5 times a day, he is USED to it from her; he wants it with someone new and YOUNG who will make HIM feel young. The girl he cheated with was nowhere near as beautiful, physically, as Christie. But she was only 18. THAT is the salient point. For every wife who thinks I am mistaken, I suggest you go on Craigslist and count the number of ads from married men seeking 21-year-old sugar babies -- girls they can pay to spend time with them. For men, it doent really matter that the girls only want their money. For a man, the adrenaline rush comes from merely having other men see them with a girl in her 20's (this is even more important than the actual sex, which, unless they are on Viagra, is more in their head these days anyway). It is the "new car" syndrome. Look at me, look what I have on my arm.These are not men who have any intention of leaving their wives. For the most part they like their home lives. But they need and want new, young p*ssy. THAT is a truth that most women cannot bear to hear.
