Ed McMahon: No Money, Mo' Problems

Who doesn't Ed McMahon owe money to?

Now Citibank has filed suit against the foreclosure-plagued star, alleging he owes them roughly $180,000. As we first reported, Ed's wife Pamela's out of control spending is gonna put him on the streets. Am Ex says he owes them nearly $750k. Time to cut the credit cards, Ed!

McMahon's rep had no comment.

17. I dont know hwo old she is either.
Sad, because any good man wants his wife to have the best that he can offer,.. cant blame him for that...
Id say she bamboozled him.
Maybe she is screwing their accountant??
I hope he can get out of this before he passes away, would suck to be successful in life only to die a pauper.
She is a reap piece of $hit for taking hom to the cleaners,,,
Tramp!

20. It's really hard to feel sorry for someone like this. And running up the credit cards? How much crap could these people possibly need? Is Ed really that stupid that he didn't know he was getting low on funds?

23. In the 1990s, McMahon was reputed to be worth in excess of US$200 million in real estate holdings (particularly in Malibu) and real estate partnerships, although his net worth declined somewhat, due to several divorce settlements.

From 1997 to 1998, he appeared in the situation comedy, The Tom Show, starring Tom Arnold.

In April 2002, McMahon sued his insurance company, insurance adjusters and several environmental cleanup contractors over breach of contract related to negligence in cleaning up water damage after a broken water pipe was repaired in his Beverly Hills, California house. The lawsuit alleged that moisture from the pipe break caused toxic mold to spread, sickened his wife, Pamela, and members of the household staff, killed the family dog, Muffin, and ruined his priceless memorabilia collection. The case was reported to have been settled out of court for US$7.2 million.

I would bet that his wife has money stashed away somewhere. She and her spending habits are cause to this poor man losing everything. Maybe his ex wives could give him some of the settlements back.

24. Hopefully, none of the a-holes here who don't have a sympathetic bone in their body never have money problems in their old age. I hope Ed has some real friends who can help organize his finances and maybe his life...no one should ever want to see something like this happen to anyone.

25. Well...looks like she's as dumb as she sounds! Did you hear he speaking on the Larry King show with her husband? That broad couldn't put 2 sentences together and make sense. What a dummy!!!!! She musta put the Whip Appeal on his decrepit azz when she first met him.

I DO NOT feel one tiny morsel of apathy for him. He should have managed better. Afterall, he made a $hitload of cash brown nosing for Carson, alone! He should send that dizzy, no-talent witch packin' and take his azz to that Calabasas old folks home. She's eyeing his life insurance policy now.

Oh well...he got what he had coming to him.

27. Havea little empathy for the man. Yes he managed his finances atrociously as Barbara pointed out above he has been plucked dry by gold diggin ex's. He also broke his neck two years ago and is in excrutiating pain, and unable to work. Its during situations
like this "For Better or for Worse" When he really needed a partner and wife. Instead he has a Bimbo who can't see him through this phase of life. I have no sympathy for her, but I am sure her next husband will be younger and he will clean her out.

28. Ed is an old man who for some reason thought his much younger wife would NOT use up nall the money she could??? The credit card company wopuld have closed out the account on anyone else after huge charges and no payments.
And the hussy 'wife' should not be allowed to rent herself out to any more old rich guys after this,
All three are responsible and I do not feel sorry for any of them.

29. I will be sympathetic to the poor people among us who have been doing nothing but try to llive better, work their asses off for much less than what they are worth, and help other people out. Not some overpaid entertainer who has married some ho young enough to be his kid, begging for the pauper public to 'help' him when he experiences some of the reality the rest of us face every day.
