31. #26 I'm voting for John McCain but, have nothing against Obama. Get your facts straight! He was NOT sworn in with the Koran. It was Congressman Ellis from Minn. who is a Muslim. I'm tired of people misrepresenting the facts. Start thinking about the issues not bigoted rumors. As for McCain, he has two sons serving in this war and every right to critisize the way this country is heading. Is McCain my first choice? NO, but, terrorism and protecting this country is foremost in the minds of hard thinking Americans.

35. This rumor about not saluting the fflag has played out. Can't you come up with a better more believable one. All the Senators know this is false because he leads the pledge in Congress. Making fun of someone's name is so childish. People did that junk in school. I think the male are just jealous of him ( looks, height, shoe size LOL). 38. Okay... He's never hidden his *full* name. Yes, full name. Not *real* name, seeing as he's not using an alias. John McCain doesn't walk around using his middle name all the time, does he? No. Would you sit there and say John McCain's *real* name is...? No. Why? Because you're trying to twist things and convinces us that Obama is trying to defraud the public and he is not.

The flag thing is ridiculous. First of all, he has no reason to *salute* the flag, he's not in the military. Heck, we as civilians aren't even *required* to place our hands over our hearts (which there is video of him doing), it's a formality, yes, but not a legally binding one.

My parents attend a Jesuit church... doesn't make them Jesuits nor does it make my sisters who were baptized there Jesuits, they're merely Catholic. (though, not really, but that's another story *L*)

As far as Michelle's comments... where is it and what's the context... plus... *she's* not going to be President.

Biggest flip-flopper? On what? Public finance? As opposed to McCain who can't remember his stance from day to day?

He flat out denounced Rev. Wright. He was a friend, doesn't mean that Obama espoused all that Wright did. Do you ditch your friends the second they say something you don't agree with? If so, how do you manage to keep any?

By the way, he does not say *he* is Muslim.

You know, I just love how the ones denouncing Obama the loudest have errors in what they consider to be so important...

43. Oprah and Gayle Cling-Along King turn my stomach and make me reach for the Pepsid. Obama will be added to her list of losers right along with Phil McGraw if he is foolish enough to campaign with Hillary Clinton or give her one red cent towards her campaign debts.

All congresspersons and senators are mostly millionaires and receive six-figure salaries FROM WE TAXPAYERS along with many perks (drivers, health care and much, much more). All these deserve a drastic PAY CUT NOW! Remove all perks. They can well afford to pay for their own health care, just like so many citizens and can pay for their own gas and driver if they want one. Most of them have FAILED TO DO THE JOBS THEY WERE ELECTED TO DO and Senators Obama and Clinton are right up there as they are too busy campaigning. Are they getting paid even though they've been absent for months?

44. #37 thank you for that last bit that is in OUR CONSTITUTION ... how many more years will this country rip itself apart by those who oppose someone because of ethnicity???? Because of their religion??? By their skin color??? Now I’m not an obama supporter, I don’t believe he is ready to lead our country, but I do keep an open mind about what his platform is on economy, immigration, health care, military etc. But weather obama or mccain wins I doubt either will be able to bring this country around from what the current administration has done to it. But I hope that having a black candidate can open the eyes of many Americans and see that someone with a different skin color isn’t the end of the world like many seem to believe (stupid person quoting the bible … since when did the bible say …”when the USA is run by a black man the world will come to and end???” ignorance is bliss apparently.

You're welcome. It's something that bothers me to no end. (Well, that and the whole calling it a "war" thing, but that's a whole other post *LoL*) Seriously though... it drives me up a wall to hear citizens still (after all, the constitution's been around quite a while) telling us we shouldn't vote for someone based on religion. It drives me even crazier when I hear politicians do it. I was darn near apoplectic during the Kerry campaign. And the media doesn't help... they eat it up and egg it on analyzing it up and down, yet never mentioning Article VI.

The bible quoting makes me nuts too... especially when their own supported candidate would do well to listen. *L*

Sometimes though, I wonder how we ever made it this far.
