Britney and Maloof in Cahoots for New Album!

Britney SpearsTMZ has learned that Britney Spears is working on a new album -- and Vegas kingpin George Maloof is behind it!

Our sources say the album is being recorded at Maloof's Palms Casino in Las Vegas.

We're guessing former manager Larry Rudolph, who's been back in the picture for a while, is producing the album.

Maloof is trying to extend his long arm into the music biz -- and is also behind Ali Lohan's upcoming album.

A call to Maloof's rep was not immediately returned.

94. I think Britt is great..She did go really crazy,but that's not the real Britt.
Those drugs just really messed her up!! She is a great pop star!! As for Ali.. I watched the show. She is only what 14 or 15 and she wears more make-up than a 35 year old. She needs to act her own age, like seriously!

96. Anyways,it's cool britney's coming back in the music scene and recording a new album. I am looking foward to it but I hope this time she comes out with something much better then her last album and that she doesn't f-up this second chance.As for Ali, her music sucks ass ,she should save her sisters money that shes using to release her album and maybe use it in things she needs like some vocal lessons and school.
