My opinion and I am a Democrat -Nancy Reagan was okay as First Lady. Jacquline Kennedy was okay as first lady.
LadyBird Johnson was a good first lady. Pat Nixon was strong to have endured what she had to go through. Betty Ford also had personal problems and solidered through.

26. I saw the Nancy Regan bit on TV. I was appalled how this was thrown in. I don't agree with her husbands politics and career, but the woman is a class act and although she shpent hords of money on designer outfits during her husbands political career she did bring a sence a style and class and style to the White House. To lump her in with the young punks of Celebrity and Hhollywood and to try to bring her down to this jockular level is just bad taste. She's a Former First Lady, she deserves some respect (especially after what she's been through with her husbands illness).

And #22, I am conservative but I think Tipper Gore is a beautiful lady. And as much as I dislike Hillary Clinton, she is one who gets better looking with age. So some of us can look past politics. And I wouldn't hold any crazy ass thoughts like hoping someone keels over (esp. an 86 yr old) just because I didn't like their spouse. Some of these people need to get a grip.
