F***, George Carlin's Dead

George CarlinBust out those seven words, it's time for a tribute. Legendary comedian George Carlin has died.

The 71-year-old Carlin died around 6:00 PM PT this evening at an L.A. hospital after being admitted earlier in the afternoon for chest pains.

A battle over his comedy -- namely his "Filthy Words" routine -- went all the way to the Supreme Court.

As to the hateful comments on here, George would probably laugh. Personally, when I see people going to sites to write such crap when they really dislike someone then all I can think of is: GET A LIFE!! You have nothing better to do? Go to the site of someone or group or something you like and make a positive comment. The comments are always incredibly juvenile and serve no purpose but to show the ego problems and amazing childishness of the poster.

American Comedy is losing something with the death of this legend, that's for sure :(

his very early appearance as host on SNL is on NBC right now though :)

363. George was as big a part of the problems as anyone. Give it to him he spoke truth about the people in power who don't give a F*** about you, but it also helped people just laugh it off while the truth of it failed to sink in. Mainstream folk who love this guy still vote for the same people who don't care about them except for what they can use them for. George raked the bible across the coals constantly. as I see so many 'experts' do. Yet I doubt the man ever read or studied it, just like all self proclaimed experts on the bible out there, they spout misinfo based off of what they see around them or what someone has told them. They want to talk about something they are not even educated in or qualified to touch, but they know all about it,, don;t they? They know it all, F****** morons talking and bashing something they know nothing about.

One month to the day - wow. He will never be replaced.
