Malibu Surf & Turf War -- The Rematch

Private security was hired to patrol the beach where Matthew McConaughey surfs -- but that didn't stop another brutal beach beatdown from taking place yesterday between a band of violent locals and the paparazzi.

After a beachgoer chucked a beer bottle at one of the paps on the shore, an all-out brawl took place by the water -- ending with some badly busted-up faces and a lot of ruined camera equipment.

Though the L.A. County Sheriffs Department eventually showed up, no arrests were made.

PAPS HAVE DAMAGE OTHER CARS AND PROPERTYS TRYING TO TAKE A PICTURE ALSO CAUSEING CAR ACCIDENTS AND PUTTING PEOPLE LIFES IN DANGER FOR THE SAKE OF TAKING A PICTURE. 189. I support the surfers. The video(s) has been edited. Cowards! The first incident there were a few shoves, yelling, and not until one of the paps started swinging a tripod or something that looked like a metal pole did the surfers start getting aggressive. It's about time!!! The second incident, one of the paps (you great big hulking he-men) shoved the beach girl, that's what ticked her off. One little girly chased away a packs of rats. I LOVE IT! Stick to the alleys of LA and leave the beaches alone. If people don’t want to be photographed, they have that right. No means no! Back off and respect a person’s right to privacy. It’s a free country, both ways. Freedom from harassment from paps ranks high on my list.

On a side note, Harvey Levine (owner of tmz) is looking gaunt and little dusky lately. Feeling OK? Too much slime-tossing may equal Harvey's karma?
