Jacob the Jeweler to Bling it Behind Bars

Can you ice out a prison cell? Hip-hop bling king Jacob the Jeweler has just been sentenced to two and a half years in the federal pen for lying to investigators looking into a multi-state drug ring.

43-year-old Jacob Arabov copped a plea last October to doctoring records and lying to the Feds.

In court Jacob said, "I feel ashamed that I broke the laws of this country, a country that has been so good for me. I will carry this shame for the rest of my life."

Cops arrested the jeweler in 2006 at his Manhattan shop on charges he and several others conspired to launder roughly $270 million in drug profits.

18. Jacob and his family have been friends for a very long time. He got caught up in something and couldn't get out. He is paying the price now and so is his family. He admitted his participation and he and his family are suffering. Instead of hating, pray for him. Pray for his wife. Pray for his children. They are lovely people.
