Shaq Attacks Kobe: You Ruined My Marriage!

Shaquille O'Neal took the mic at a NYC club, unleashing a freestyle verbal assault directed at his arch-enemy Kobe Bryant -- blaming his former teammate for ruining his marriage and imploring him to "Tell me how my ass tastes."

After spending several verses shredding Kobe apart for losing in the NBA playoffs, Shaq drops the line, "I'm a horse, Kobe ratted me out, that's why I'm getting divorced."

Launch photosThe line most likely references a comment Kobe made during his infamous 2003 rape case, when he told Colorado police that he "Should have done what Shaq does ... Shaq would pay his women not to say anything." The two became famously bitter rivals after the incident.

Calls to Kobe's reps were not returned.

For me it dose not matter what was on tape--people just got to remember that we are all human and all human beings are not perfect and we do make mistakes no matter in marrige like KOBE,SHAQ'S or talking about people that happens all around us. In my oppion people should not take it too far as to hurt people--I guess they do not have nothing else to do--I think people should mind there own bussiness and stick to there own lives and try to fix what is wrong in theres. For me they should just leave SHAQ ALONE and stop adding fumes to the flame.

19. I loved it. A classic battle rap. Funny as hell. Actually, shaq does a lot with his free time and money. Being one of the initial investors in Google, Operation Blue Ridge Thunder, in which Shaq is a Bonafide Deputy in the Bedford County Police Department- goes on busts, the whole nine, it's a crackdown on internet child porn and online predators) So as long as he does really beneficial things for the world, cut him some slack. Rappers talk trash. Basketball players talk trash. If Michael Jordan could rap, you'd really have burning ears with all the trash he talks!

20. This was all in fun. You people take things to serious. Shaquille was the one who filed for divorce, his wife does not want one. Educate yourself before you comment. And yes kobe did mess things up with the lakers, He would still be the great player he is now, but with several more championship rings with Shaq taking away some of the defense. Even with this declining, being a low post player, Shaq woul be a force and would only make things, so much easier on kobe.

22. i think what shaq did was great.. and besides he's just freestyling you dumb @sses. all of you should know one thing KOBE COULDN'T DO IT WITH OUT SHAQ... when shaq was traded did the lakers team won the championship again? Kobe is not #1 his #none the reason he won the MVP for this season because he got the highes point and that's it, he got the highest point because it's like his playing by himself you know what i mean guys, after the inbound of the ball he will go straight to the basket, he couldn't even see his own teammates and that is not how to play basketball it's a 5 man game not a 1 man game. 25. SHAQ is an embarassment. I am ashamed to have ever been a fan of his. He is talking crap about the Lakers loosing in the Finals. At least they made it. His fat-ass can barely run down the court. I am glad the Lakers got rid of him. I think Kobe is a standout guy for not stooping down to shaq's level. Kobe can probably turn around and say worst things about shaq and he hasnt. I truly think Shaq is bitter and jealous of Kobe. Everyone needs to stop being a hater. Lakers will be 2008-2009 Champions. Hurry back Bynum!!

28. I've been reading all the posted comments. First off, I like both Kobe and Shaq, but I like "The Rip" Hamilton over them. Well, in my opinion, it was a pretty good freestyle, although I remain confident that the BIG (or a ghost-writer he paid) worked on the lyric before... Really liked it. Now, lyrically speaking, I'd keep myself from judging the BIG said. We all know that today's rap songs are mostly about fame, money, sex and dissing. If you want to play the god-fearing rapper, well you'll have hard times impressing people. So, I think Shaq did it, on one hand, to draw people's attention (I mean make it very interesting) and it worked! Another point is that Kobe is definitely not the reason of Shaq's divorce. Yes, he said stuff about Shaq, but that was ages ago. Shaq's divorce has been heard just couple months ago. So, for those who think there could be a link... For those who treat Shaq as an immature or dumb a***, don't you see that he knew what would happen after the freestyle? Do you think he's that stupid? Yes, he did diss on Kobe, yes he used some racial expressions (...it's like a white boy tryna be more n*** than me...), yes he didn't need to do it. But you know what? We all should take it easy, because none of us knows anything about Big Shaq and Kobe's relationship. The only thing I blame on Shaq is that, even though he's never meant to, his act is going to affect lots of kinds out there who are his fans and they may do alike later on. "Acts matter more than words." One more time, I really enjoyed it. It was funny of him, but not instructive at all. And this is where the problem is, for most of us.

29. wow seriously how immature can shaq get hes just a hater cuz he knows he will never get another ring hes to old and fat...especially now since he wont be a sheriff during the off season hes going to gain alot of weight...i really cant believe he would go out of his way and go on stage n say all that...i bet he sits around hating on kobe...kobe is the best player in the league the problem is that he is carrying his team n its alot of weight to be carrying hopefully wen bynum comes back he can help kobe out!!!!!
