Apparently O'neal, who is in the process of moving his family to Alabama for personal reasons, told freelance writer, Will Estell of bcb Media, that he is excited about the move and feels that the entire experience and slightly slower pace of life will be very good for himself, his wife and especially his children.

Shaq, assured that though residing in Huntsville, AL, he will continue to work the "circuit" as he called it and will follow his previous paths of acting and sports commentation, albeit at a slower pace and possibly less frequently.

9. Shaq is a f***ing loser. There was nothing funny about his so called free styling rap. It was very tasteless, and ignorant. And why is it that he has to talk about Kobe all the time? There are so many other people in the world, why Kobe? Can you say jealousy. And regardless if Kobe never wins another ring, as long as Shaq is out of LA that's all I care about. And Shaq if you are reading this, now that the season is over, maybe you should take some grammer classes this summer, along with speech classes. You are garbage, and if anyone thought what you did in that video was any way cute or funny, they are just as ignorant as you are. It's hard to believe that you attended college anywhere. And no matter what you say about Kobe Bryant, he will ALWAYS, come out on top. First your wife made you look like a fool, and when you did the video, you made yourself look like a fool. 10. Huntsville AL is booming at the moment and it's a terrific place to raise a family. The HSV/Masion AL area is high-tech not redneck as you might think. I lived there for 5 years and loved it. Hope to move back there one day. It wouldn't surprise me if other celebs follow this trend of removing their kids from the spot light in hopes of a more normal upbringing.

11. Alabama is actually a very nice place. Beautiful mountains and crystal clear blue oceans. They even have power and paved roads. :-)

13. Huntsville is a great place. Demi & Ashton have got a place at the weston, they just opened ketchup here. Goldie Hawn does too (her son plays on a hockey team here as well). This place has boomed in recent years. Cost of living is great with high end shopping & lots of things to do. Great place to raise a family. We welcome Shaq.
