Anyway, about Gary....would TMZ rather he be skinny and ON DRUGS or have a healthy weight on him and be clean??
I mean, just what is TMZ trying to say with this foto/headline? TMZ thinks it is better to be skinny but dying from durgs than to be an average person's weight. They should really just ADORE Amy Winehouse then...so why are they always bagging on her if that's the case?

And they are saying that they really hate you, their audience, those of you that are of average weight or over...

But, yes, I am a substance abuse counselor. One of the first things that happens when people stop using drugs is they start to gain weight. It's a GOOD thing because it is a sign that he has most likely quit and rehab helped him. Give him a break.
