Hulk Hiding Under Charity Cover

The Hulk Hogan-fronted charity that brags it's raising cash for John Graziano's medical care hasn't paid his family a penny.

Nearly a year after Nick Hogan's crash, Graziano's attorney tells us that they haven't seen one red cent from "The Freedom Group," a charity that Hulk just happened to become the towel-waving spokesbeast for ... a week after the crash.

A source tells us that Freedom raised 60 grand last year, but it's unclear where any of that jack has landed. As we reported, they canceled their biggest fund-raising event -- the National Towel Wave -- because they didn't want to deal with Hogan drama.

UPDATE: High-profile Hogan attorney David Houston says, "To the best of my knowledge, the Graziano family has not requested assistance. A request must be made and go before the Board of Directors before a request can be granted. The J & J recovery fund is only a part of a much larger charity doing other things." Sean Chumura, one of the co-founders of Freedom, tells TMZ that Hulk was actually involved with the charity before the crash and that he's "absolutely not hiding" behind the charity.

31. #27, The Hogan's have not made any money off this, it is the media like TMZ who is "profiting" from this story, so to speak by people reading about it, posting about it, and then checking other stuff out on this site. The only ones making money are the lawyers.

If I was locked up and knew I had a ton of lawyer bills piling up and a lawsuit, I would be looking at all avenues to make cash too, you know all of you would. That is how humans are, that is how life is, deal with it.

Another thing with reading these stories, who can prove Hulk provided beer to Nasty Nick? Maybe Veggie John gave him some, and him, being an adult and knowing he had a couple of beers, was dumb enough to drive/race with him. Too bad what happened, but you play, you pay the price.

32. Hulk probably spent every last cent of that 60,000 dollars. It seems to me he could care less that his son was the reason for Graziano's vegetative state. Whatever goes around comes around. As if the Hogans dont have enough money. Maybe they should try living on the street for awhile.

33. No kidding, gee imagine that? The National Towel Wave, what a freaking joke. First, ole lady Hogan is too busy chasing after young studs and second, ole man Hogan is too busy watching his daughter have her picture taken. May these people never find an ounce of work again. There are some real freaks in Hollywood, but I must say these people have put an all-new meaning to that. And to think Michael Jackson was once the king of odd-isms. Beyond all of this, I should think the Graziano's would say "hell no" to one dime of their so-called fund raising monies. After the way the Hogan's were caught red-handed slamming that young man? How dare they (Hogans). Of course the Towel Wave was cancelled, because the Whore-gans are now persona non grata (and they know it). Young John still has way more class (even in his current state) then that little daddy's boy Nick could ever even think of having. Here is what I would like to see, those other boys locked up with Nick the freak, should write a book about being in jail with the freak-ster and then donate all of the procedes to John's family. Now, would't that be not ony wonderful - but the ultimate slap in the face to those living monsters called a family?

34. My family and I stopped watching American Gladiator due to the Hulkster's behavior, and I am sure that we aren't the only ones. You would think that sponsors of the show would've gotten a clue about people's feelings about Hogan and pulled him from the show.

35. 16. Now, I have no idea where this Marine is being kept (what hospital) but if he's an active duty Marine he should be at a naval Hospital. If he is, there wouldn't be medical bills.

Again, I don't know where he is being kept.

I believe that he's being kept at a V.A. facility. However, the lack of medical charges means that we, the taxpayers of the United States, are footing the bill. That's one of the reasons for why so many people are up in arms about this situation: the Bolleas have a huge moral responsibility to care for this person, and yet, they appear to be avoiding this responsibility and allowing it to devolve onto the U.S. taxpayers.

37. See, the thing about Nancy Grace is that she is correct. You may not agree with her, but the law does.

39. Not a fan of the Hogans, but must set the record straight. I am familiar w/the Freedom Group and its beginnings, and it is true that this organization was established and "Hulk" Hogan was their spokesman BEFORE the car accident of Nick and John. May God comfort the Graziano family and knock some sense into the Hogan family.

40. The National Towel Wave is NOT Hulk Hogan's charity. He is a spokesman for the charity that was founded by people in western Pennsylvania. And Hogan did NOT join the charity just after his son's car crash. There were announcements that he'd be in Freedom, PA, as a spokesman months before the accident. He was only paid expenses to come to Freedom for the kickoff of the towel wave in September.
If we follow TMZ's logic, Michael Jordan owns Hanes underwear, and Kirstie Alley owns Weight Watchers. Guess what...they DON'T. They are spokespeople representing a company. And Hogan is the frontman for the Towel Wave...not a board member, not a founder, nothing.
Once again, TMZ doesn't let the facts get in the way of a good story.

41. This is such BS
Since when does the victem have to ask for assisstence?

Shame, thy name is Hogan/Bollea

The Grazianos should just go ahead and file that law suit now, we know that this is how it is going to go down, just get it over with.

The Charitsy collected 60,000 give it all to the family of John
They ( Bollea's ) did say that the Charity was started to benefit John, right?
Now there are other reasons?
Hogans lawyer is as crooked and nasty as the family he represents

SHAME SHAME SHAME

Oh wait, they can't feel shame, only sefl pity for the situation that they put them selves into.

Who's gonna watch Brooks show, Brook KNows Best when it starts in a few weeks.
She is trying to postion herself outside of the family by not talking to her mother because of the boy toy mom is
shagging....don't believe it for a second.

Those rotten fruits, Brook and NIck did not fall far from that rotten tree did they?

42. To #31 (Chuck Paugh), I also stopped watching "American Gladiators". I just can't look at him without thinking about his actions since Nick's crash. While Hogan certainly has a right to work, I also have a right to switch channels when he's on TV.

I would be more sympathetic towards the Hogan family if Terry had just said something like, "Linda & I are going to do whatever it takes to help John & his family and, because we love our son very much, we will help him take responsibility for his actions in this tragedy."

I'm sure the family attorney would rather no statement of responsibility be issued but the cops had Nick dead to rights. He was driving, he did crash the car and he did have a history of speeding/racing. Taking responsibility for his actions could only help him - with the courts, the public and John's family.

Oh really? Then why does your website say "We’ve established "The J&J Recovery Fund", specifically to support these young men and their families in this time of need." These young men being John & John, both brain injury victims?
