Governator Arnold Schwarzenegger is very conscious of not leaving a lot of carbon footprints -- so he drives around in a brand new, gas guzzling muscle car!

Despite selling his fleet of Hummers -- and just two days after speaking at a climate change event -- Arnold was spotted getting out of his new 6.1-liter V-8 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 on Sunday.

Between his new ride and taking his Gulfstream Jet to Sacramento every morning, Arnold is on a mission to pump up ... America's reliance on foreign oil!

16. Challengers are made in Canada with mexican motors and german transmissions....this is not an american made car.

I wonder if the state of California paid for it?

17. In reply to the third post, Dodge didn't make 1 biodiesel Challenger custom for him. It runs a normal gasoline engine, like any car worth driving. Get your facts straight before making ignorant statements.

19. Oh who cares. All these Hollywood types are full of it. They live in their mansions with built in swimming pool and every gadget under the sun sucking energy. Then they take a private jet, it makes more pollution than any average joe could make in a year.

22. I am constantly amazed how people that have an appreciation for the entertainment value of a vehicle, get punished due to it's construction, or look, or engine displacement. At the same time, other people spend money on other forms of entertainment that are damaging to the environment, while pointing the finger about being "green". The Dodge Challenger is actually not the old muscle car of the 60's and 70's but a modern car that provides similar entertainment as the old cars, but without the "carbon footprint" of the old cars. It's a big step forward and a testament to the auto industry that such a car can even exist.

I do have one question though. How do you hug a tree, with your head up your behind?
